Proofreading help

I have been struggling to get my stories to be accepted. I have ran them through grammarly and word editor. Is anyone willing to help me?

Help. I am an average Joe. I did write a book and its on Amazon, but I never had anyone ever proof read or give me any advice on what I did wrong. I did submit a story, I was told I need help. Can anyone work with me? I would really like to share my memories. I have so many. I also have a continuation That I submitted. I dont know where it is now. I still have it but was told that the other one that was rejected was still undergoing scrutiny.
