On reflection, I realize I have made many many tiny changes and wouldn't be able to identify them individually, so if I took the editing route I'd just have to delete what's there and insert a whole new story. That wouldn't help you, right?

Thanks. In either case would the story appear as a new story?

Over time I revise my stories. Can I delete a story from Lush and re-submit it?

Or are they only informational? I'd like to search for "humiliation," and some stories have that as a tag, but it looks like I can only search by genre, and it is not in that list. Am I missing something?

I tried to edit this, but Editing seems to only allow access to the title.

Anyway, I did find that if I edited my existing story a Tag dropdown was there at the bottom. I don't know how I could have missed it originally (and on at least one other of my stories), but there you go. There seems to be at best a whimsical relationship between what you type and the possibilities in the dropdown, but I managed to find what I needed.

I see that many stories have tags displayed to the right of their main category. In fact at least one of mine does. But I just posted one today and didn't see a place to add them. Can I add them to already published stories? How do I do that?

Twice today I've tried to REPLY to a comment in the Writers group. It's a reply to a reply, not to an OP. I type in my comment, click the REPLY button and I get a red square about the size of a postage stamp over the button. It has a spinning progress circle in it. It goes away if I click anywhere, but the message doesn't get sent. I've tried this several hours apart, after leaving and re-entering Lush. Is this a known problem?

Thanks. I'd like to modify a paragraph in Submission, which is in the queue at the moment. I understand that it will go to the back of the queue. That's fine. Thanks.

Is there a way to make changes to one's story? If it's pending? If it's published? I can't even find a way to delete it so I can re-submit it.

My ideal book involves a straight man surrendering with dignity to pain and/or sexual humiliation.  Here are other attributes:

There is no personal relationship between the tormenter and the victim. The MC doesn't want to please anyone.

The action takes place in the real world. Make believe historical OK, but no sci-fi or fantasy.

I got involved in erotica at the beginning of 2021 (after an initial spell in the '60s and '70s). I've been looking for such books and have really only found two by Billierosie, The Enslavement of Eli and The Rebellious Slave.

I've written my own four stories along these lines, one about to be published, I hope, and one available only on Smashwords for non-con reasons. https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/1088381 (FREE) Check my profile for the others.

Anyway, back to my request. I'd be really grateful if anyone knew of other such stories.

... whether men or women can send you messages?

I can't tell if this is going to me (AG31) or simplyjohn. I want to thank simplyjohn and ask simplyjohn if I should have gotten a notification about his response to me. I don't believe I did. I was watching for it.

I see people mentioning that they know who liked their story or picture or whatever. I can't figure out how you find out the author of a "like?"

I have to join to see what it's all about. So I've joined a bunch that I now don't want cluttering up the "Groups" section of my account. As far as I can see I can only "unsubscribe."

There are an unlimited number of reasons why you might need to go back and look at a notification again. This is super not OK.

If LushStories admins don't read this, where can I post instead?

Thanks,

AG

I should have mentioned that searches for "peer", "Peer", "review" and "Review" didn't not find that group, although the two "reviews" found a movie review group.

p.s. How come you can only edit the subject of a post here, not the post itself??

There's a camera icon here, and it takes me to a dialogue where I can choose a *.png file from my computer, but then it doesn't upload because I get an error "All content must abide by our acceptable use policy." I had a similar error when trying to upload my book cover, but found out that it was spurious and that "Save Draft" worked just fine. Here, though, there's no Save... Hmmm.... I'm going to try again and click Submit. Maybe my picture will be there. It illustrated a problem searching for a group. Here goes. Well, it's there with a white X in a red circle after I clicked Add. Now I'm going to click Submit.

I'm not able to find the peer-review-group by using the Search feature in the Group main page. The group is there, and can be found by entering www.lushstories.com/groups/peer-review-group but search says there's nothing there. Is this a bug? Or a feature I don't know about?

Jen, just add a media picture. But my problem is solved. Apparently I'm not alone. NicolasBelvoir told me what to do. He got the same behavior on a draft but he clicked Save Draft anyway and the picture shows as uploaded.

If you're not getting an answer here, you can create a "ticket." Click on your avatar, choose "report a bug" near the bottom of the menu and fill out the form. I believe you can get there from the Support button at the bottom of most pages as well.

If I accept someone's request to befriend me, what accrues from that? What are the benefits? How do I ask someone to be my friend? Where's the button for that? If I accept someone's friend request does that automatically make it reciprocal, or do I need to ask them to be a friend to get the whole benefits?

Thanks,

AG

I've joined at least two groups, so you'd think I'd remember how I did it, but I don't. I want to join the Peer Review Group but can't figure out how. I go to the group and see the message that says I must join to see the posts, but I get no further. Please advise.

When I try to upload the cover for my book I get the message "All must abide by our acceptable use policy." The cover is shown faded out with an X in the upper right. As I say in the subject, the cover has only words on it. It says Twelve Maxbridge Street by M. H. Keplar. I did upload it successfully a few days earlier but didn't complete all the fields in my submission and didn't save a draft. I've tried to upload it 3 times over the course of two days. No luck.

Please advise.

Thanks, AG

I was filling out the form to publish a story and I'm pretty sure I clicked "Save Draft," but I can't figure out how to find it. Please advise.

Thanks,

AG
