I haven't published anything (yet). I am however someone who reads/votes and comments (most of the time).
I am sooooo guilty of giving a "5", when I really wanted to give a 3 or 4.
I have never wanted to give a "story" a 3 ... but some poems yes. I have wanted to give a 2 before to a poem, but didn't. I just didn't score it. I would think that 2 would have better then 0 though, yeah?
I have noticed some writtings that get way higher scores due to someone like me. Friends vote hight regardless it seems. If you look at the comments left, it's usually a friend .. not necessary a follower. I'm not generalizing, I just saying on some. *I STAND GUILTY AS CHARGED.*
I will tell you this .. I will not leave a comment or score anymore unless I think it is of 5 quality.
The reason for this, is because of all I have read about "3" scores.
It is so out of my character *to not* give an honest vote.
I am known for being brutely honest, and giving constructive critisim, even when not asked.
Why wouldn't the authors of both poems and stories want an honest vote?
Oh .. and I think it's a good idea to separate the two. (see how I ramble on .. geeeezus)
You can spend a good amount of time on his page. Very entertaining ... along with his stories. His photo gallery is artistic, and his fellow author friends are some of the best, if not the best (which he is to be included in that mix).

what the hell is 'Breaking Bad?'

*Sigh*

Yours was once such a proud nation: 'Ruler of the Waves.'
Now look at it, a nation of prawn crisps eaters and Dailey Mail readers.

Breaking Bad is just, like, the greatest TV show EVer !!!
It's on AMC, US. You'd need a whole new Transatlantic cable to get it, (unless Sky TV picks it up - but it's been on for 3 years now).

Here's the plot:

Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico is diagnosed with lung cancer. He realizes he has no money to leave his wife and 2 children. As a lark, he accompanies his brother-in-law, a DEA agent, on a bust of a methamphetamine lab which, co-incidentally, is partly run by an ex-student of Mr. White's, Jesse Pinkman. Pinkman escapes before the drug bust but Mr. White tracks him down later and offers to form a partnership with him - White has seen how much money can be made and his skills in chemistry far exceed those of his former student. He figures he can manufacture a superior product. He does. He and Jesse buy an RV and cook chrystal meth in the desert. Soon his money woes are over.................
but his woes with the Mexican Drug cartels have just begun.

Oh, and the music is great.

Lead actor Bryan Cranston stated in an interview: "The term "breaking bad" is a southern colloquialism and it means when someone who has taken a turn off the path of the straight and narrow, when they've gone wrong. And that could be for that day or for a lifetime."[6] Writer and creator Vince Gilligan defines the term as "to raise hell". (Wikipedia)

You can buy it on iTunes and play it on your miraculously mended shuffle. Remember, you're the only person keeping Steve Jobs alive.
