I am single with 3 grown children. Widowed for 3 years. Mostly I was a stay at home mom after finishing college. My husband was a Naval officer for 25 years and as you might expect, we moved around quite a bit.

It has taken me a while but now looking around for things to do and places to explore. I am not sure what I will find here and not really sure what i am looking for. I have led a "sheltered life" i suppose you could say, but while a little naive I am not an idiot. Many of the stories that i have read so far are quite thought provoking and have opened up some new worlds to my imagination. The thought of writing a story never really occurred to me before but it seems that since the prompt asks me about what stories I would like to write, perhaps I should think about that.

Interests
My grandchildren are number one for me. Gardening - flowers and veggies. long walks in the redwoods.

I have been on here a short while and am not sure what i want at this point.
