Coffee ☕️

I love coffee too, but late in the evening, I don't dare drink it. However, when i get up, you would take your life in your hands if you get between me and my coffee maker!
Dreams seem to occur most every night, but I can never remember them! It's so disheartening!

That'll cost you but the. Pegging is on the house ?

Oh hell yes, maybe with a little alcohol fortifier to sweeten the coffee.
Dove Dark Chocolate! I have to ration the bag or else I would make a dark chocolate pig of myself!
What I never have understood are the double standards. For example, a guy who gets laid a lot is a stud, a girl who does is a slut. Guys want blow-jobs but get all 'I don't do that' about going down on a girl. Guy get all freaky about the idea of sucking a penis, but get off on girl-girl. It's not right!

I think I am a good cook, but you would really have to ask those that I cook for, as to the real answer.

Do you like to cook new things?

I love it! I love trying new recipes or just plain experimentation. It's usually edible, but on a few occasions, my experiments backfire. But no one has been poisoned (yet, as a few friends have said).

What's your favorite dish to cook?

I have never had the slightest desire to do NYE in a crowd like Times Square. Mardi Gras in NO is on my bucket list.

Not all that crazy, but I stayed in the pub after closing and blew the owner then 69ed a beautiful Irish barmaid.

Will you be drunk NYE?

Beautiful Irish barmaid, now that sounbds like a terrific New year!

Maybe! It depends on which bunch of my friends show up. It's an eclectic group, but there are a couple of friends of friends that I don't feel comfortable getting plastered with simply because I am not very bright when I get too drunk. Now there are a few I would know would have my back . . . or ass, as the case may be. My objective is to wake up on Jan 1 in bed with any number of female friends without a stitch of clothing on and the feeling that I broke in the New Year in the best way possible! My record is 4 friends, I look to better it!

Did you ever see the barmaid again?

A glass of eggnog and Bacardi before bed.

Do you watch NYE telly?

No, I plan on being out with friends, and while I am near NYC, I have no intention of going near Times Square. I did that once years back and Mardi Gras in N.O. is much more fun and warmer :-) I froze my titties off for a high five from a member of a boy band I didn't even like :-)

What is the craziest thing you have done to usher in a New Year?
I am not much into tea, but a nice stong cup of black coffee with Lilly would be quite interesting.
I used to a few days a month. But not any more, since I passed about 46 I think it was. My family said I was really bitchy from 46 wsell into 47 for some reason :-)
I lost my virginity to a girl after school on a Friday and then had sex with a guy less than 24 hours later, so does that count?
I went down on a girl before I did a guy! Nowadays I stick to girls! So in answer to your question Yes and often! As for if I enjoy it . . . . oh hell yes!

Guinness should be cellar temperature (50ish( not reoom temperature.

Well, mine is usually heading toward room temperature, but never last long enough to get there :-)
Quote by GraceW
I take mine cream no sugar, and will drink it between 120F and room temperature.

Room temperature coffee? Not me, I reserve room temperature for Guinness
Coffee, also know are my lifeblood, for sure. I am horribly old fashioned and drink it black and as hot as humanly possible to stand. I get funny looks at Starbuck's :-)
I love books and movies, but I have always found movies usually pale when compared to the source material. Some of the movies I like even though they don't measure up, The LOTR movies come to mind. Others are so different the only thing they have in common with the source might be the title and maybe character names, the whole James Bond series is like that -- the movies have very little to do with the original Ian Fleming stories.

However, there is a very small segment of movies that actually improved on their books. I am curious what some of you think.

The one that comes to mind for me is 'Jaws'. The original book came across as more a soap opera, including an affair between . . . Oh, I don't want to spoil it for you is you haven't read it. But the movie is a suspenseful masterpiece that set the stage for the whole idea of a summer blockbuster.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Oh! What a Lovely War
Cabaret
The Sterile Cuckoo
Wings of Desire
City of Angels
The Seven Samurai
A Man and a Woman
A Little Romance

I loved a'A Funny Thing Happened . . ." and also 'History of the World Part 1', I always wished for a Part 2 :-) 'The Seven Samurai is also a great movie, but my dislike of subtitles got me on that one. The western remake 'The Magnificent Seven' I also thought was we3ll done. The Yul Brunner one, not the most recent remake.

Tangled
Frozen
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Amelie
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Captain America - The Winter Solider
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Iron Giant
Alice in Wonderland (all versions lol)
Jojo Rabbit

While I enjoyed most of the Marvel movies, 'Captain America - The Winter Soldier' is the bst, in my opinion. A real story, not just a little narrative between special effect fights.

I know I might get stones thrown at me, but I have yet to see 'Gone with the Wind'. I adored the book and simply never could bring myself to watch it. I know, personal failing, but — in my defense, I really, really loved the book.

I don't think I have a specific favorite movie, but in no particular order, some favorites are

Moana
Bound
The Thin Man
Thor: Ragnarok
Rogue One
Fried Green Tomatoes

OMG< I haven't thought about WIlliam Powell and Myrna Loy in years. The whole Thin Man series was among the best ever made. It's funny how many times Hollywood has tried to duplicate the chemistry those two had nd failed miserably :-) Thanks for having them on your list! Rogue One is also my favorite Star Wars movie!

I could quote Airplane beginning to end... ( shrugs )

No Shrugging! You like what you like and shouldn't have to feel weird about it in any way! I loved Airplane! It was the first of what I would call the modern satire films.

American History X
The Fifth Element
A Serbian Film
Seven Pounds
Bambi
Pinocchio

Some great ones there, although I have to look up 'The Serbian Film', bever heard of that one. My personal failing with foreign films is I find subtitles very distracting. So I try and watch them in their original language, sorta like watching an Opera when you cannot understand the words, but the emotion can sometimes come through. I know, I'm weird, but I love that about me.

For my snuggle muffin, Ping and I, soundtracks are a huge component for our movie viewing pleasure. A wonderfully told and moving story is paramount. Amelie is probably number one, Tron Legacy moves up to number two, and Atomic Blonde bumps American Graffiti to number four.

Music is a huge help when it comes to enjoying a movie. There have been some that left me scratching my head thinking 'did the composer of the soundtrack see the same movie I just saw?" :-)

The John Adam miniseries. Best acting I have even seen in a movie.

Wasn't Paul Giamatti just amazing as Adams?

For his never ending support to so many writers - ChrisM

I have to second this one! ChrisM has been encouraging, supportive, and when I need it willing to kick me in the ass -- in the most polite way :-)

If multiple nominations are allowed, then I would also like to toss hats in for Vannessa26, Kiteares, and CuriousAnnie. These have touched me with their stories and their support. Thank you all so much. Plus the pictures they keep dropping in my profile keep me thinking up more and more stories! LOL

The Warmest Colour is Blue. It's a beautiful love story, without an apparently happy ending, but then the viewer is left wondering will they meet again, or have they truly gone their separate ways,

OMG, I forgot all about this one. I saw it years ago with subtitles and I learned that I hate subtitles, too distracting for me.

"As Good as It Gets". Jack Nicholson is a repulsive bigot with comments like "Don't worry, you'll be back on your knees in no time." He shows he actually has some redeeming features with one of the best compliments the world has ever heard. The best part of the film, though, is Helen Hunt's breasts.

I am not a big fan of Nicholson. Oh he's done some things that I liked, but I never saw this one -- only caught pieces. Now I am going to have to watch because . . . Helen Hunt's breasts!
