I would strongly oppose that and in fact not accept it. That should be private. Many people wouldn't put up with it and leave. The only cases where someone's voting record should be made public is if they are an elected politician and their votes on laws should be available to their constituents. Other than that doing such thing is an invasion of privacy. I am very sure that such an intrusive, counterproductive thing would not even be considered here on Lush.
As a longtime story verifier, I can accurately state that we certainly don't have time to 'nitpick' stories. We'd much rather approve them and move on. It takes much more time to reject a story and let the author know what all they need to fix. Plus, on those we often do some edits to help them out. Having to deal with a lot of rejections leaves us much less time to socialize with our Lush friends and write our own stories.

Stories that break the Lush rules will be sent back. Stories with a lot of poor spelling and grammatical mistakes will be sent back. English grammar has not changed. It's still the same as it was many decades ago.

We give tremendous leeway on dialogue sentences to allow for real world and colloquial speak.

There are many authors here, both older and younger, who consistently get their stories approved on their first submission without the need for editing.

If Lush is making a member remove their stories, a notice should be sent at the very least to that member's followers but I would recommend to their friends as well. Today I went to read a story that time would not permit me to read yesterday and not only was that story GONE, so were ALL of the stories that member had previously posted. This was undoubtedly the very best writer I have ever read. This was very disappointing.

We only reject stories during the verification process for rules violations and failing grammar. By the time the story is approved it has been edited to meet our standards. Once stories are approved we do not remove them. That would be counterproductive to this site.

If an author's portfolio of stories has been removed, that was done by the author. That is the author's decision, not ours.

Nobody has ever seen you and Ben Affleck together either...

Maybe they have.
I like to check out the stories that need verifying and if they look difficult, I leave them for Evie or Sprite.

Seriously, I might check in and have no more than 5 or 10 minutes available but would like to verify one of two stories. So in that case, I'll take a quick look at the stories at the top and see which ones I can knock out in that time. Mostly having to do with story length. When I log in and have plenty of time, I'll usually tackle the first long story I see.

We try our best to get your stories to the front page as soon as possible. You all can help by doing a good job of proofing. That means more than spell checking. Make sure your punctuation and grammar is good. And very important, do read the rules and familiarize yourselves with what is acceptable content.

The verification queue moves much faster when stories don't need editing and follow the rules. It usually takes longer to reject a story than to approve it. Plus it's more fun to approve them.

I'd rather be undressed at a social gathering.

That's why you were always invited to every fraternity party on campus.
In real life Ben Affleck is Elmer Fudd. Have you noticed? They have never been seen together at the same time. That's a dead giveaway.

What's the status on this (Buz or anyone in the know)? I just copied over a submission and there are blank lines between paragraphs in the editor but not on the preview. Do I need to add an extra paragraph break or will it be okay once verified and posted? I've saved it as a draft so can submit as soon as I get an answer.

I've put 2 line spaces for each paragraph on all that I've edited. Once verified it shows up with just one line space that way.
I think we've got a handle on this, folks. Gav has been very hard at work. So, it's business as usual now.

We apologize for the inconvenience. This is growing pains from making an upgrade and ironing out the issues. The paragraphing is giving us fits but it will be taken care of. Like Jen said, save a copy of your final draft before submitting. And it wouldn't hurt to postpone your new submissions a couple of days until this is all resolved. Gav always does a tremendous job and doesn't stop until it's all good.

Thanks for your patience.

We are working on the paragraph break issue and will be getting that fixed very shortly.

Thanks
Two of mine. The paragraphing disappeared upon verification. No way to see where the spaces were. I'll alert Gav.

The spacing looked fine in edit and the final until I clicked verify. Then all spacing was gone.
NO! I'll do the dishes and I'll wash her cars. I'd help clean the house but she hires a service to do that. I'll even give her a bath and I'll wash her hair.

If I'm going to eat her after I've had sex with her, I do not leave a mess. I'll do oral sex after but I don't want that on my face and that's just how it is. So not that kind of cleaning up.
The maximize feature is too much for me but I do really like the ability to alter the depth of text edit box. I kind of miss the old larger serif font but I can adjust.

I just verified two stories and didn't see any line spacing issue. If I do come across that I'll let you know ASAP, Gav. But this may have eliminated that issue.

It worked well for me.

Gav is the man! If there is an issue he'll solve it.
I was so hungry by the time I left the office, I texted my wife to see if she'd meet me at Waffle House. She did. I had scrambled eggs with strawberry jelly on them, a hot waffle with butter on it and lots of maple syrup, hot buttery grits, bacon, toast, and decaf coffee. She had a hamburger, hash browns, and a sweet tea.
Hello, Jack. Welcome to Lushstories.

And like Bethany suggested, fill out your profile and also create or find a fun avatar to represent your or your spirited self, and you should be able to make lots of friends and feel right at home.

When you get some time, please submit an erotic story.

I'd like to own a blues bar sex club. Hmm... that's an idea.
Scientifically we've just scratched the surface. Santa is centuries ahead of us in technology.

So is Superman and the greatest superhero of all... Underdog!

This is my first time to hear the term 'goboff'.
So, you're sayin' simultaneously double goober them? You can triple goober them, ya know. They usually like to get a commemorative tattoo afterward.
Congratulations!!! 10 years! This is an awesome place. Thanks!
This is terrifying news! So, you mean that my blue dyed, spiked pubic Mohawk will give me an STD? I wonder which one?

What about folks who've been growing real long Duck Dynasty balls beards? Heard some of them use cream rinse and brush 'em til they're real soft. Will that cause an STD?

And gee, all I thought that happened when women had a little landing strip is that tiny airplanes would land in their panties. Those little propellers could be dangerous. Probably little twin engine planes and that keeps those trim little strips well groomed.
