The longest my beard ever got was when my hair was long, well past my shoulders. My beard still wasn't long. I only grow it during the winter, and then keep it very short.
Truthfully, I always get lots of compliments from women when I wear it. And when I had long hair and the beard, women were always touching my hair and saying how much they loved it. It actually was quite curly. But it drove me crazy. I'd rather my hair be very short.
My wife says she loves my winter beard and really thinks it looks hotter now that I've gotten even more tattoos.

Yeah, if the major league soccer team in the Deep South can sell out most it's games, then it's probably only moving up across the USA and Canada. I'm still getting rules straight, but have enjoyed this season's run of The Atlanta United. The crowds are definitely on the young side. No doubt millennials make up the better part of the fans in the stands.

I attended the MLS Cup Final at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last night and cheered on The Atlanta United as they beat the Portland Timber 2-0 to win the championship. An all-time high MLS attendance record watched The Atlanta United win. Atlanta fans had already set the new MLS season attendance record. It was loud and raucous and after it ended the stadium chanted "ATL-ATL-ATL" as loud as we could.

My wife and l put up our Christmas trees last week. The one in the den has all Georgia Bulldog ornaments. She does the big living room tree very formal with white lights. The other 2 trees, more to my liking, have multi-colored lights.

However someone contacted me recently, who's not been around for a long long time (a member for 10 years), and they were delighted we kept their profile going. If we'd deleted them, we would have lost all her stories, she'd have lost her friend list etc..
I know if something bad happened to me and I'm no longer around breathing air, l'd hope my stories, and even profile were still here for people to read and to be remembered.
Plus, the votes and comments l did to support friends and people who worked hard, l'd hope that was permanent.

My dog for years when l was a kid was a shelter dog, a puppy when we got him. He obviously had a good bit of Yellow Lab in him. He was my buddy and great friend. He slept in the den in the basement, but l'd often sneak him upstairs to sleep in my room, against parent's rules. His expression when Mom would catch us was looking at me like, "It's your fault, dude. I knew better but you made me." 
It took some coaxing but he eventually started swimming in our pool with us, but would only jump in from the side, never the diving board.
And as always happened at our house, the dog and the cat would be best friends.

President George H. W. Bush has passed away. Presidents Carter, Clinton, Obama, and of course, George W. Bush, with their wives will attend the state funeral. All have submitted glowing statements on his life.
I am sure all the ex-presidents will say more great things but do worry that current president Trump may say something rude and embarrassing to our nation. Hopefully not.
George H. W. Bush and his wife, Laura, were great benefactors to Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, part of the historically African-American university/college system in central Atlanta.
After their presidencies, Pres. Bush and Pres. Clinton, who ran against each other for president, became very close friends.
In a bit of a funny note, Bush, a lifelong Republican, voted for Hillary Clinton for president, not Trump.
I got to meet President George H. W. Bush in person and it was a great experience.
