Huh. You know, that never occurred to me. Being a food nerd, I try and source locally, support small farms etc. Even my beer and liquor money stays in the region, if not in the state. Admittedly my wine comes from beyond our borders, or from California, just because most of the wine around here is garbage. But I never thought about extending that practice beyond food and drink.
