You can still select all and delete marked. (Only takes the ones on the page of messages you are currently viewing, but way faster than one by one deletion.)
Could also be the file format?
is it Jpg, gif or png?
If it's not then it wont post.
I tried uploading a picture and it works fine for me.
I'd check following:
Image file size. It has to be less than 4mb to be uploaded to the gallery. (1mb to the forums)
You've reached your storage limit, you'll find out how much you got left of your limit where you upload the pictures.
Clear your cookie jar. Somehow cookies always seem to play hoax on us so it's always good to empty the jar from time to time just because.

2. Pick the option "Copy Image URL"
