I'd love it if the type-in panel on the chat window could be automatically selected every time I do something with the mouse that indicates I want to type. For example, when I click on a person's name to select them as someone to talk to, i shouldn't have to click in the bottom pane to get to type to that person. Similarly when I click on the selector of how I want to talk to say "privately whisper" I want the bottom panel selected. I often want to whisper, say, "hi, i am busy right now" and then when I realize my typing is not appearing I click in the boxy and it says "Hugs" (the first H in that scroller) instead of whispering...
