When i receive a friend request I often want to reply saying why I'm saying "No thanks". Can we add a button to the mail that says "no thanks but send a reply"? I just sent a "no thanks" to an unsolicited request, someone who'd read a story and wanted to be friends. The reply I got was so grateful ("nobody else has had the (uncommon) courtesy to reply") that I realized more people would like this option as well.
