Thereafter, where I could discover them, it was artfully-written encounters in novels like "The Odessa File," and "Day of the Jackal" by Frederick Forsythe, brief teasing information from others like Arthur Hailey, Irving Wallace, Wiliam Diehl, very naughty books from plantation settings by Ashley Carter (Xaveria Hollander's books were never what the covers promised) gave me some fun scenarios and heavy innuendo to flesh out in my own active imagination...
