Yes, no doubt. I could think of a few.

My stories are as long as they need to be. ...... It's not my problem if somebody can't find the time......
I fully agree with M_K_Babalon. I write mainly for my own enjoyment. I like to share with other people who think my stories are worth reading. My shortest is 3,3K, the longest is over 11.
When I post them, then I think they are ready, whatever the word count is. It is however a very good idea to have a blog as sanctuary.
I am quite new to lushstories, just published my first story last week.
Over a period of years I have written a couple of stories that, I think, are suitable for publishing here. Most of these I wrote because I like to work my fantasies. I thought to publish at least some of them here, although I need to improve the flow and check the grammar before publishing them.
My questions now are:
1. How important is the cover image?
I find that I use a ridiculous amount of time thinking about a striking image that catches the essence of the story. Then I'll be making and remaking a prompt in an AI image generator to get a illustration that never fits my ideas.
2. How do you do this? I could use some clues.
