Flavoured, carbonated water.
I would have to have kept records to give the correct answer to the dollar anyway. A couple were tickets to the symphony and dinner before or after (her choice) at a nice classy restaurant, with a bottle of wine. $100@ for the tickets, $50 minimum for the wine (usually about $100). Each meal is at least $50. That is about $400-$500 US dollars for a date. That does not include all the small stuff we both spend money on preparing for the date like the clothes, cleaning them well, etc. So $50 each and that is usually what I budget.
If it is a very important date in a place like Paris to make it a date we will remember, I have spent $500 on a bottle of wine alone. But what is an evening in the presence of someone you love dearly, followed by a walk across the "bridge of sighs" worth just a couple of times in a lifetime?
At some venues, there are traveling musicians (a gypsy violinist?) you may want to play her favorite song to, or a lounge pianist to relax while you wait for your table if you arrive early.
You can tell I take a date quite seriously!
I once had a colleague whose wife turned 50. He wanted her to remember the day as a great day. He booked flights ot Paris for the weekend, had dinner in the Eiffel Tower, and a room for two in a nice hotel.
It cost him small thousands. His wife was over the moon!
Is burning desire a man or a woman? Pass.
Sentiments don't do it for me.
Just let me take you there.
One foot on earth,
One foot in eternity.
Let's make the earth quake
and the heavens open
No walk in the park
Let's play Beethoven!
Extremely nice and absolutely never naughty.
For buying the tapes from me while in prison, so he could sell them and become famous.
Scott seems nice, but what does the "horny" is his name refer to? hmmmmm.....as for what he says about Amelia, he is spot on!
