I'm pretty sure this is a lifelong relationship, but I really just love what happens when I hook up with myself. I mean, that bitch, she's bossy as all hell, but she gets me and knows what I like

I read both your stories and they are not bad. Stop putting yourself down too, there's many out there who want to do it for you. You did not do anything wrong. You have good words but you need to study some techniques. You tend to tell us what's going to happen or happened then tell us how it happened. Epode get confused and you lose their excitement. It's all about getting them excited and keeping them there.

"...her orgasm could be the eighth wonder of the world..." Was great. Descriptive and short and it allows us to add detail of our own that makes it even better.

You're drawing pictures with words to excite someone you do not even know.

Read yours back, record them if you need to and listen then decide if it's exciting. I use a Speak utility to read them back and that stilted, choppy alien voice shows me problems. I'm new here too but I've learned a lot from all the really good authors here. If anything I said helps I'm glad. I remember submitting my first story too and thinking I'll never be able to do this. I usually prove myself wrong when I do that though.

The "Just Do It" sticker applies here so get one for over jour work area.

Good fortune with this.

I think this link is going to show what you are trying to say. It's one I've shared with a number of writers that I've helped.

show vs tell
My avatar changes with my moods. They always are curvy brunettes, and they always represent a facet of my personality.

Typically, they are nurses, ride bikes(like this one), or show a little attitude of some sort. The great ones combine a couple of those things.

Additionally, they have to work in the thumbnail size.

If you can operate a tractor too ... well ... honey, I'm definitely in love with you

I can, but it's Sprite's doodad twizzling that holds me mesmerized.

Why does it become a double standard for a woman to flash a male but, not for a male to flash a woman? Should all male exhibitionist be labeled as offenders? I guess men should not be allowed the guilty pleasures that you girls enjoy. I think nudity should be accepted without shame or prosecution. I also want to clarify I do not promote any of this when minors are present.

For the record I dont flash strange men either. So how is that a double standard. In fact, I believe that is actually expecting a man to stick to the same behavior.

Hey ummm. Im not trying to complain but the last time I visited the "Ladies Room" I was kind of, treated rudely. I was told as a transexual that I didn't belong there. Because it was a "women's only" room. I was really hurt. Im curious about if this is normal behaivior on lush because if so I think I will leave. Thoughts? Is this not a friendly place for me? I'm hurt and confused but I'm willing to listen :/

Lush is a community, and as such we have all sorts, the pleasant and the rude. we try to encourage the pleasant and discourage the rude. So since you met someone rude, let me introduce some one who can be pleasant.

Hi, Im Dianna. Welcome to Lush and I hope you enjoy your time
Are we talking men in a general sense? Then no, I do not like it.

Are we talking about a man I'm involved with? Then if it's an appropriate time/place, yes I do.

Now it says this when you pull up the website.....

HeraTeleia' am ready to meet you in court, you want ma address? lol

Apparently they find this a joke.....

I'm happy the website is down. Now to work on Fantas.com. I see a few of my stories there but not as many as Mystories4u.com

meh, they can find it a joke or send messages all they want, what does it hurt me? not at all. takes their time to read here and respond. Ill not even look. Haters gonna hater. cheaters gonna cheat. And low lifes will be low lifes. Ill not descend to their level and will continue to enjoy my life and time doing the things I enjoy (and a few things I'm not as fond of, like dishes, and homework)

I was having a PM conversation with a friend about this and I thought I would share my feelings on the subject...

The way I see it, when I write a story and publish it in the public domain, then it's no longer mine - it becomes public property in some way - people will read it and do what they do. If there's an audio version, they can save that to listen to over and over.

I find writing cathartic, for me, it's more about getting the stuff out - once I've done that, it's served its useful purpose, it's easy to forget about it and while I like the feedback and so forth that I get here on Lush, in the grand scheme of things, if other people pinch it and read it elsewhere what does it matter? Okay, I may not get the personal credit I deserve, but at least they read what I wrote and hopefully enjoyed it?

The other thing is that, in the past, I would follow up on these websites, ask them to remove my work and sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't but no matter how often I would do this, more sites would pop up and do the same - it was like rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic, kind of pointless and the results aren't really worthwhile enough to merit either my time or my emotional investment...

I guess this must be how musicians and bands feel when people download their music without paying? Or when people share stuff on FB without crediting the original poster or person who made/wrote it...

As for stopping writing and contributing? Well, I don't get paid for it, it's not like they're stealing from my purse. I just do it because I want to, it's a hobby. I'll keep writing here because it does me good and also because people seem to enjoy what I post - if they enjoy it somewhere else without my say so, well, that does suck a bit, but at least they're still reading it... The only person I'd be punishing by not writing would be myself.

Anyway, those are my thoughts.

What a great way to say everything I wanted to biggrin

I'm with you on this. Yes, it irks me that my stories and audios have been stolen.

I used to care a whole lot more, but you know what? Each time we go after one site, another one will pop up and do the same thing. It is a never ending cycle. When you post ANYTHING online, you're risking the chance of it being stolen. Be it photos, stories, art work, music, whatever the case may be. That is just, sadly, how the internet works. Sure, you can chase them down, but as I said, more sites will pop up and keep it going. If you want to spend your days chasing them down, more power to you. But, me? I really can't be arsed.

Best of luck to those who do, though.

This

I've had mine stolen repeatedly, and yes I email them. But has been pointed out, its like weeding. they always come back, and then I've spent hours of my time for what? Possibly this is why I am a terrible gardener.

I'm very glad for the care Lush verifiers put into ensuring that those who post here are posting original work. I'm even more glad that Gav puts as much work as he does into attempting to maintain the security of the site. But as long as I have even one pirated download(book, song, or movie) on my hard drive, I have no reason to complain.
I can do 7. Prefer to go 5 then watch I get less chaff down my shirt and face that way.

For all that I can do the others, my preference is to pay someone to change the oil, tires, and whatever. I'd rather do the cooking to running a chainsaw or laundry to cleaning gutters. Doesn't mean I can't. It means its what I prefer.

Oh, and for the record, I think that red nasty ass gear grease is some of the worst smelling stuff on the planet. Seriously, I'd rather deal with a c.diff patient then get that goopy stuff on me.

Fantas.com has posted this added to the end of my story....

Written by TxPrincess for publication on LushStories Only! This story is protected by International Copyright Law, by the author, all rights reserved. If found posted anywhere other than fantas.com with this. note attached, it has been posted without my permission.

seems a little contradictory.

The stories of mine that they have posted still have my note attached that states it has been stolen from Lush as well.
I don't require tampons, so thats not an issue. However, not only do I know what oil goes in the various vehicles (the powerstroke uses Rotella synthetic), I can change it. I have broken down tires, and been a part of changing everything from tie rod ends to head gaskets. I've changed shear pins, PTO couplings, and teeth. I can toss a bale 7 rows high, back a trailer, and split wood.
I've not been turn off of men. I like them well enough, I just also find that I like women.

Healthy usually refers to the sperm count and the mobility of the sperm.

Having spent a lot of time dealing with AI for various reasons, I always think motility and count when I hear healthy
since you are asking this question in the forums, doesnt that naturally skew your results?
Besides the aforementioned fantastic writer, I'll add my bit. My current favorite genre to write is gay male. I have never been, nor intent to become, a gay male. But some how the what if involved makes my creative juices tick and jump starts other stories. Flat out lead to under pressure. Released from duty lead to sandcastles.

To the OP, write what's in you. It's the only thing you can do.
nope, doesnt matter to me at all. I dont use myself as my avatar, and I see no reason why someone else should have to either. I choose something that represents me, and if what represents you is a give in strawberry short cake pants? who am I to judge. I see people that post because its something they like, they want they love or wish to have.

I'd like to see a worm hole, or portal, or whatever those things are that transport you through time and space, option added to the drop down when you hover over a friend's name. Once you click on it, you're transported to wherever that person is, anywhere in the world. I know it's a big ask, but I saw them do something similar on Star Trek once. Careful with the coding though. I hear it's similar to a black hole. Let's not find out what really happens with one of those.

Thanks Gav.

I can get on board with this suggestion biggrin
dani is always there when I have a question, and her profile makes me feel spaced out ;)
If I eat at 3p, after just waking up, is that lunch? breakfast? or possibly even dinner?

I fixed wilted lettuce salad, with hot bacon vinaigrette smile my favorite. coincidentally, I'm now out of both lettuce and bacon. I believe a trip to the store is in order.

If you put 3 or less on a story, you have to comment as to why.

Also, condensing the story categories. I think they're a bit excessivein terms of number. Also, it would be nice to be able to put a story into more than one category, for example, a lesbian story in an office could go into both categories, but linking back to one uploaded page biggrin might help when it comes to finding what you're looking for.

Your first suggestion has been addressed in this very thread, just scroll a few pages back.

The second, most people add tags for a second category. For example, my story Flat out was in the Gay Male category, but has a supernatural tag.
I'm there as just Dianna I have a couple stories and a handful of poems. smile

It's not a "genre" though, any more than "Stories written by Clum" or "Stories written naked at my desk" are genres.

Collaboration is a way of writing a story, not a type of story.

I think the ability to have all authors credited is sufficient. I have no opinion on whether it should be posted on all contributors' pages.

EDIT: I guess "Stories written by Clum" could be a genre if I had a very distinctive style which set my stories markedly apart from others (for better or worse). As it stands, that's not the case.

I have to add, it would be very nice to be able to see those I've been credited with as a co author on my page. I'm listed as a co author on the story, but that's it. Is there anyway to add a link to the story on my profile?

Living at the beach I have seen just about every bikini there is. I find it strange that a woman that wouldn't be seen in her bra and panties will proudly parade around is swimwear with a fraction of the coverage.

Ain't that the truth! I don't live on the beach, but I'm close enough that I'm there on my days off. You'll see women and men wearing things they wouldn't dare wear else where. Of course, most of those are pretty pale, the Florida people will pretty much go about in very little all the time.

I have also written a collaboration with Lexi (sweetesSins). I wasn't aware both authors got credit. In our collaboration I didn't. Plus, if the collaboration was allowed on both authors pages, it would give better exposer to the story.

adding a second author is a fairly new development smile and one nic and gav worked with the writers to add

Nicola,
I would love to see a new category added for Collaborations. After the latest collaboration by Milik and Poppet, I think this category promotes shared experiences between members.

My last idea was a bomb but I think this one is better.

Chuck

Hey Chuck,

I tried to find the thread, but couldnt find it off hand(and im on the way out to go to work) but the current system that gives credit to both authors is actually a solution that most are fairly happy with. If I remember correctly(why I looked for the thread) to set it up as a collabs, would require a lot more work for the code monkey.

Some of the collabs are great. Of the 3 recipients of the Outstanding series award, 2 are collabs! (Im very pleased to have been part of the Settle for Nothing Series)
