Egg and cheese sandwich. It turned out quite well, disregarding the near disaster with the egg. Then there was the paradise blend juice. Happy tummy.
If you check the main forum page, there's a clock at the top that tells you what time the forum is set to. I figure it's easier to have everyone's posts indicate one time zone, rather than indicating every individual poster's time. I have added an extra clock to my windows clocks. It's called L, for Lush. Helps me keep it straight.
Edit: The forum time zone is UTC (-1:00), according to my computer.
So, my husband isn't comfortable reading erotica. I can respect that, even if it does deprive me of one of the best editors I know. He's alright with me writing it, he just gets all embarrassed reading it. It's kinda cute, really. I've tried to have a discussion with him about why pictures of sex and videos of sex aren't as embarrassing for him, and he states (with a straight face) that no one's going to jack off to erotica.
Say *what*??!?! <face palm>
His hangups aside, he supports my writing of just about anything, and he's willing to edit the non-sexy parts. :P
Nobody else knows about the erotica part, and that kinda scares me a bit.
Here's a good question. It depends on the story that's being told, doesn't it? Some stories don't need character development because we don't care who they are, just what they do. I've read plenty of *short* stories that had absolutely no depth of character and yet... they were amazing. And that's the other caveat. For a short story it's almost not necessary at all, since character development would make the story not so short. A longer story may very well require quite a bit of character development, unless the poor sod's just gonna go around experiencing things in an emotionally shallow manner. If the writing is really really good this could work, maybe. Cheers!
The fan. Crickets. Coqui. Random traffic. Just another day in paradise.
