Welcome to Lush! smile

The Published field in your My Stories list indicates whether your story has been verified or returned for edits. The Not Verified will change when one of these things happens.

I also noticed you have submitted two stories at once. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but request that you refrain from submitting another story until the first has been verified or returned. It helps the verification process run smoothly for all members.

Thank you for your query. Please let us know if there's any other way we can assist you.

Have to say Ravenstar. Hands down. Love her stories.

Well, thank you. You've just made my day.
I keep wanting to play this game, but these days, all the songs I listen to are kid's songs. Example. Right now, the last song I listened to was The Alphabet Song by Susie Tallman.

Perhaps it's in your file type? Usually, extra spaces and that sort of thing are brought on by rich text macros embedded in the file. They don't transfer well in a copy/paste.

While this is not the ideal solution, we have found that if you copy the story into a PM window and send it to yourself, the message you receive will be clean. So then you can copy/paste from there to the story window. Just fyi.

Edit: clean of the usual issues. Any grammar or punctuation errors that were made during writing week still have to be dealt with. ;)
To entirely contradict your post, I also use Open Office and have never had this problem.

I'll answer this here, instead of in the duplicate thread you made.

What you put your wife through is called emotional abuse. It's just as bad as physical abuse. You were careless, callous and mean when the blame was yours. There is no excuse for your behavior.

I would suggest that if you want a BDSM punishment for your assholery, ask a BDSM community. The vast majority here do not live that lifestyle.

That being said, my vanilla resolution would be for you to apologize sincerely and do laundry and dishes on your own for a month, to show her that you care. Maybe take her top a nice dinner or two. Then fucking get counseling for your issues.

Ravenstar is another writer whom I consider royalty here (she is one my own list of favorites, several pages back). Molten Core is astonishing.

Plus, she is really bossy and domineering when telling me my sentences are too long, or that I am overusing semi-colons, which I find kinda hot. smile

Seriously, I have probably learned more from her than anyone else on the site. In addition to being a great writer, she is a great resource.

Oh, you. Thank you for those kind words. You're pretty amazing yourself.

Also Lupus and Ravenstar

This poem is amazing and as a new lesbian 'Ravenstars' audio really turned me on..I may suck at being a lesbian but jesus...her audios are hot and so is their poetry.

Aww, thanks, kiera.

I have to say, though. The poetry is all Lupus. I just lent him my voice. smile He's very talented.

Perhaps a way of grouping stories other than by genre.

I don't mean re-ordering the stories in the "my stories" list, but rather in terms of what happens when you click on "more" underneath an author's 10th story on the profile page.

For example, I just finished writing a series. The genre changes from chapter to chapter.
Of course, interested readers could find their way using the titles, or by the links I've embedded into each story. But it's a bit visually cluttered.

I could also see wanting to make folders for reasons such as having a character that inhabits many stories or series ("Here are all my Debbie Dallas stories"), even if the series are in in different genres or the stories have different titles. I am thinking of how I organize my stories in my google folders. ("Kristina" "HUGE" "dress code", etc).

Would others find this helpful?

I also agree.

I have 2 pictures on my profile page uploaded to image gallery. I was planning to use the 2nd as a story cover. Would it be acceptable?

Yes, the second image with the crazy toe curling and the dubious bed spread is okay. Thanks for asking. smile

Are there any rules regarding pictures for story covers?

I've been perusing through the stories and I noticed that none of the story pictures have hardcore content. Do the pictures have to be softcore?

Yes, please. No genitals and no hardcore images. Thank you.

I don't fully understand your request.

There are thousands of threads on this site that discuss subject matter that is neither sensual nor erotic. I didn't realise non-erotic discussion was forbidden.

I am a moderator, and I have repeatedly asked you to drop the subject. The next time you bring up , you're likely to get suspended. We don't discuss it, period.

It's not the non-erotic. It's the subject. Stop right now.

Using threats and blackmail in order to coerce a person to agree to sex does not constitute a consensual encounter. A person has to be 100% willing and ready to give their body in order for consent to be valid. It's a situation in which a person has agreed to sex against their wishes and better judgement. That is not giving consent because they want to. It's giving consent because being is far more preferable to the alternative.

Think of it like this: A man is in court, facing charges of . He says to the judge and jury, in his defence: "I pointed a gun at her, your honour, and told her that she either consented to sex or get shot. She then agreed to have sex with me. Therefore the subsequent sex was completely consensual."

Do you think that defence statement would stand up in court of law and get the defendant acquitted of ?

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt since you're new. I'm almost sure sprite doesn't want to discuss the finer points of with you. She was merely clarifying the rules of the site.

For future reference, we don't enjoy discussing . In fact, people get suspended for even mentioning it sometimes. Please drop the subject.

Thank you.

Non-consensual stories ARE allowed. But the person has to be forced into sex against their will by means of blackmail and threats rather than physicality. It's just a more acceptable way of playing out a non-consensual scenario, having the person reluctantly agree to be taken against their will before hand, rather than someone just pouncing on them without permission.

This issue has been addressed. The rules are what they are.

Thank you.

I had been debating with myself, (mentally not verbally) about weather to ask y'all about posting a story about a dream I had about 20 years ago. My dream was about being transported into another world that was still inhabited by dragons. One discovers me and chases me down. I go from being terrified I was going to be his lunch, to getting turned on and having sex with him. Then brought back to his lair and shared with his son and friends. We are able to communicate through mind reading. I am allowed to return to my world and go back and forth at the will of my Dragon Lover.

I post on another site that does not allow stories on beasteality, but allowed mine as it dealt with mythical creatures and it was a dream.

I wondered if Lush would allow it?

Brandie

Nope. That's still here. We allow sex with humanoid supernatural creatures, but animals, even mythical animals, are not allowed.

Thank you ever so much! smile

Non-consensual would not be allowed. How about where the guy tries to make a pass at her, she resists, then he reluctantly backs off. Once he's backed off, she wants him. She encourages him to take her in a rough manner. There you would have non-consensual in a 'consensual' manner, if you follow what I'm trying to say ...

xx

That would probably work, as long as no still meant no, should she want it to stop.

In non related things, please fix your signature, as it completely screws with the forum formatting. It should look like this in the forum signature edit box:

Keeping Mum!

But it makes no difference if a person is forced into having sex in physical manner, or forced into agreeing to have sex by means of mental coercion such as threats and blackmail. The principles are still the same, with the same moral standard. That person is still being forced into sex against their wishes and better judgment. It's just being done in a more subtle manner with a sugar-coating.

The "they had a choice to say no" element is just sugar-coating the situation.

I might be wrong, but that's my personal opinion.

Note I did not say it was right. It's just what the site allows.
Quote by Frisky_Faye

Even if a person has a choice in the matter, that person would still be having sex against their wishes and better judgement. I'd say that was dubious-consent rather than non-consent, so, even though the situation is slightly different, the morality of the act is still the same.

So it's the nature of the non-consent theme that people object to, rather than the morality of the situation.

I think I get it now. Thanks for the advice.

is not . It's hideous, immoral, disgusting and completely unacceptable behavior. It's one of the most reprehensible and degenerate of human disorders, the desire to destroy another in that manner. In a situation, no means nothing. There is no choice.

The reason we allow blackmail and coercion is that the person can still make a choice to accept the consequences of saying no.

I believe I can safely say that Lush Stories will never publish stories with non-consensual elements ( ).

Thanks, Liz.

I know why I worded my response the way I did, but really and truly, if Lush started allowing non consent stories, I'd close my account. So I'll revise it and say, "Dem's the rules. "
I use Open Office, by Apache. Great suite of programs, very comparable to Microsoft Office, without the silly formatting issues people usually see with other programs.

Also, it's free. smile
Hey, y'all. This is an older thread that has been revived for no good reason (because Comic Sans is the devil). The change was implemented nearly two years ago.

Just fyi.
