Why were they duds? Some women are repressed, they need to be brought out of their shells. Some may be a bit down, they just need a little extra attention. The only cartoons I remember as a kid were Loony Tunes and Popeye. I did eventually turn left at Alboocoykey and here I am.
As an adult the best cartoons are the ones that work on multiple levels, most notably The Simpsons (A Streetcar Named Marge is my favourite) and Rugrats.
