I might buy cheap to solve a quick problem, but if I'm going to rely on it it has to be quality.

Do things need to match or are your cupboards and drawers full of odd dishes, cutlery, etc.
False. It's why I've never owned a BMW. Fucking things were dangerous.

You have been caught by your new gf/bf with your old gf/bf.
Innocent. I've had it done to me and I don't like it.

You avoid housework as long as possible.

I'm assuming you are talking about your competition entry?

When competitions finish, I go through every story and remove all "down votes" on each story from other entrants (anything other than a "5").

One contestant (who shall remain nameless) voted every one of the other stories in the latest competition, a "3" or a "4", hoping to pull down their average scores. Little did they realise I can see all the votes and will forever have a black mark against their name!

In your case, 3 of your fellow writers with comp entries voted your story down. Those were removed.

It's a pity I have to waste half a day doing so when competitions close off, but it's a necessary task when there's foul play at hand.

Call it old fashioned professionalism that I won't allow it to happen here.

First of all, you may be upset with me for a couple of reasons. I owe you a letter of explanation and apology.

To the topic at hand:

I assume you only remove downvotes cast by fellow contestants since I still have a 3 and a couple of 4s. I did not realise you did this. I will not give a 5 if I do not think the story merits it. I have given a few 3s and 4s in the past. I will stop that on competition pieces. I have no desire to add to your workload.
If tents ever go OUT of style I'm in trouble.

Would you look good in a miniskirt?
No, but Ive had pigeons nesting in my bedroom.

Have you ever had yor identity stolen?
Well, I jus found out there is a minimum number of words, it's 10. Thinking ...
The only things I remember looking up for my writing were:

Flight schedules from Albuquerque to Prague, which was odd because I had sworn 20 years previously that I would never again fly with a commercial airline.

I am terrible with dates but I remember musical events. For example, a few days after moving to London to live with my mother in 1969 "Well All Right" came wafting through my window. Wikipedia told me it was June 7 when I walked into Hyde Park to watch Blind Faith's first concert.

Not particularly weird, but possibly interesting.

no minimum, although i found out the hard way that only a single words story will get you rejected when i tried to publish my magnum opus; Fuck.

Well, that's just not fair. That's the whole story, right there.

As far as pictures go, I really like the idea of requiring them. I was going to write about a Ducati I once owned, they made really fine vibrators, so I searched for nude on Ducati. What I found was a nude bareback on a horse, and suddenly there was my story.
Is there a minimum number of words, or just what the story requires? I ask, because I published a story once which was five words. He was an excellent writer, even at that length.

that's cause you're a pretender to the throne, minion.

There had better be room for us both on that throne.
Here I come to save the day! SPLASH!!! Whoops, sorry. Never mind, I'm sure the water will run back in.
Absolutely guilty as charged.

You go out without a mask.
