if it works out the way it's heading, will secure my place in hell.
Lush readers beware!
Is securing your place in hell that bad? I hear the parties never end, meaning you’ll never forget them

After so many of my stories being vanilla, I thought I'd try writing a hardcore sex story. One that takes place during an outdoor music festival (similar to Glastonbury). Anyway, I thought that I had brainstormed a few hot ideas (including one where a man grinds himself between a woman's breasts and releases on them, as well as her sitting on his face and being eaten out by him). However, upon research, I am realizing that my ideas might not be hardcore enough for the category. I guess this speaks to my limited experience with sex
I am close to being finished writing my medical story, which is inspired by my own experience of being in a coma. And in addition to writing how the main character’s nurse fulfills his drug-induced fantasies at the end, I am returning to earlier scenes to make their encounters more sensual and fun. Hopefully not as repetitive, either

I don’t stress too much about numbers. Happy to have people read and enjoy. What in my opinion are my best stories, don’t have high figures. My least favourite which are in a popular category, are much higher. As you say such is the nature of Lush.
And it also seems that, regardless of how well-written you think your story might be, sequels are always going to have fewer views and likes than the previous part. But this obviously isn't a factor for competition entries
My concentration has been so out of whack lately. I'm not just working on the two stories I've previously mentioned, I also have a medical story idea involving a young man who has recently come out of a coma. I should be able to get at least one of these submitted before the end of the month, but my attention span has been lacking
I'm working on a "T@b00" story involving an uncle and his non-blood related niece, that starts off innocent but gets more t@b00 as the story goes on. And, after initially thinking that didn't have enough sexual experience to write a true story, I'm also writing a "True" story about how a dating app experience leads to me developing an underwear fetish
On and off for the last couple of weeks, I've been working on an office sex story. And, to push myself, I wrote it from a woman's perspective. This could mean a couple of things: it's either one of my worst written stories (because it's pure fantasy), or it's one of my best. Regardless, I just submitted it a few minutes ago. My fingers are crossed that it's not terrible

Sometimes this occurs when we are trying to give other authors a chance to have their stories seen. It's frustrating and annoying to approve a story, only for that author to submit the next one 12 minutes later. Jen has made it clear that the queue is consistently full and verification times will take longer.
Hopefully my comment didn’t come across as serious, or that I’m actually annoyed. I’m in no way complaining about the wait time for my current story. Honestly, I wrote it more for myself. I have OCD, and tend to get needlessly anxious

I read somewhere mods do this to divy up the long queue, I think, but it can end up with later submitting stories publishing first, depending on how long it takes each mod to get thru their locked stories.
Maybe add a mod note on next one to please not lock your story until ready to approve, if it bothers you.
I know the long queue is frustrating to both writers and mods.
But don’t delete now, or you’ll go back to end of line!
I won't name any names, but a couple people I've talked to have said sometimes it can take just a few hours for their stories to be published. Whereas mine had been submitted a few days earlier. And earlier this week, I submitted a flash erotica, and it's been assigned to a mod for a day (maybe a little longer). So I do understand what DousedInGasoline is saying, as well.
While I'm trying to keep in mind that mods have lives outside of Lush, it can admittedly be annoying when you hear about stories that were submitted after yours being published before.
I've lived almost 35 years on Earth, and yet my only experience I have with women is through my stories. My characters have had more experience than I could ever hope of having. Everything I've written about so far on Lush has been a fantasy of mine; of what I wish I'd been able to experience in real life.
And yet, I see so many other writers here who have been in relationships for years. Or have been able to afford going to e$corts (in case I can't use the word). But, neither are options for me. I'm broke, and I'm obviously not attractive. People make that crystal clear to me on dating/friendship apps and in real life. Where do you find your partners? Is it even possible for a guy like me to meet women, when I can't even make a single friend? Or find an employer who is willing to give me a chance?
My story, Oliver Cloesoff's New Neighbour, has recently been published. It's about a young man and his MILF neighbour, and their growing interest in each other. Please check it out if you're interested. Thanks!

You should’ve seen what I came up with when I asked the AI generator to give me a picture of a redhead with a man between her leg legs 🤪😹
Let me guess: she was giving birth to him. I find that AI generators can't count, either. Even when you specifically say that you want 3 girls and 1 boy in a scene, it often outputs 4 (sometimes 5) women. But that was probably my fault, for saying it was a scene involving panties

If I could add to this:
Please don't submit a new story immediately after having one approved. It clogs the queue and slows down the moderating process. Give it a couple of days before submitting the next one.
I know people are anxious to get their stories published. But your readers are likely reading more than just your story. You need to give them time to read and appreciate what you and other authors have written. 😎
I admit to being a little gung-ho when I first started on Lush. For some reason, I thought I needed to do that in order to keep readers interested. But I likely just annoyed people instead lol
My "Cabin Strip Poker" story has been published. It involves a group of college graduates who celebrate graduating by renting a cabin for a weekend. If anyone is interested, I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks!

A group of recent college graduates celebrate with a game of strip poker
Group SexThank you to whoever gave me advice. I decided to rewrite the siblings into being childhood friends, instead. There was just too much of a legal grey zone, and I’m not a strong enough writer to justify the former characterization. I submitted my story this morning, so hopefully it’ll be published by next weekend
Alright, fair enough. I wasn't sure because, on one hand, the group sex's description says having sex/sexual activity. I was under the impression that sexual activity could mean anything from actual sex to strip poker (because they're a group of people). But no, with two of the characters being siblings, it would just be the siblings having sex with their partners. Definitely not a foursome, in that context
I've been rewriting a story that I started before joining Lush. It's about a brother and sister, and their respective girlfriends, who rent a cabin in the woods to celebrate graduating from college.
For around a quarter of the story, I introduce my characters and the plans for the cabin weekend and getting situated at the cabin.
For around half of the story, a strip poker game between the brother and sister and their girlfriends takes place. They have beers, lose/win rounds and clothes (until they end up in underwear), and joke around while commenting on each other's bodies and underwear.
The last quarter of the story sees them joking around and commenting on what happened during the game, before retiring to their respective bedrooms. The story ends with the brother and his girlfriend having sex and climaxing, followed shortly after by the sister and her girlfriend having sex and climaxing.
Would this story be categorized as group sex? I ask, because there are elements of other categorizes. But, I think the main one is group sex
My story “Silent Sparks In The College Library” was recently published. It’s about a college boy and girl who meet in the library, and end up in her dorm. If anyone is interested, I’d appreciate some feedback. Thanks!

A chance encounter in the library leads to more than either of them bargained for
College SexOh, sorry about that! How did I miss that?
Yes, it was the rough draft of an essay for school… yeah, it wasn’t pretty. But thankfully I remembered I had also saved it somewhere else. Crisis averted!
HYE befriended someone you met at camp… and then run into them in a completely different city?
