Shh Man

In the dim alley light, he raised a finger—silent, commanding. “Shh…”

His eyes pinned me, dark with promise. Stubble framed lips I suddenly craved. Then she appeared—shadowed, elegant, dangerous. A woman in silk and smoke, eyes unreadable. He didn’t look back, just held me there in the heat of his gaze.

The hush was no longer just foreplay—it was warning. Whatever they were hiding, already had me tangled.

And I wanted more.

Wow...wow...wow. I'm incredibly grateful to be recognized in this way. Writing this piece was a personal and vulnerable experience for me, and to know it resonated means more than I can easily put into words.

A heartfelt congratulations to all who submitted a story.

Thank you to the judges, the readers, and to the platform for creating a space where stories of intimacy, complexity, and desire can be shared and celebrated.

I’m honored, surprised, and very moved. Thank you.

Thank you, Kimmi and to the EP panel. Truly an honor to have my poem recognized this way.

Love this idea... also, not a bribe, but i just happened to be baking some cookies if you'd like to partake...

Jen's last nerve, apparently.

I like your peacefulness signature. There's a quote by Jimi Hendrix that I like.

It goes: "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

Well, damn...this has been quite the welcome to your site. I’m truly honored to receive the Editor’s Pick award. Writing is both a passion and a journey, and this recognition fuels my inspiration to keep crafting meaningful (and erotic) stories. A heartfelt thank you to the editors for their support, to my readers for their encouragement, and to this writing community, it's inspirational. I’m grateful beyond words!

“Poppy”

You had me at "...I can finish her." 😳😜

Looks enticing. I'm excited to read her when she comes out. 😎

A whisper of silk takes your sight,

Cuffs on your wrists, snug and tight,

The scent of sweet spice

A lingering, slow vice,

And screams of pleasure through the night.

Rain:

Any stares of onlookers rolled off like the deluge of rain, soaking through her nightshirt, washing away tears of longing that threatened her.

He was gone.

Cold pressed in, impenetrable, a stark contrast to his warm embrace, the way he’d claimed her with wild passion, fucking her with a fevered urgency. His scent lingered for a moment as the train pulled away, leaving behind only a whispered promise to return.

That should give you some ideas. But I strongly urge you to seek out authors who can do it way better than me, and study how they construct the stories.

Awesome...thanks! I will certainly check out some of those pieces. Appreciate the nudge...

Codenamed CTRL-Z, it lay dormant for ages until I reread it one day. It was still shit. But there was an interesting idea about regret lurking deep inside it. About how choices affect those around us, and how people make decisions for what they think are the right reasons but turn out they're not. And yes, it had some hot lesbian sex scenes.

Interesting conept... can't wait to read it!

Question: How have you found writing from a female POV? I guess it's presumptuous, but i assume from the cover art and the description (hot lesbian sex scenes) that your protagonist is female?

I have been tinkering with an idea about a country girl who is ripped away from her quiet rolling fields of corn to the hustle and bustle of the big city when she falls for a charming city boy in town for business.

It needs to be written from her perspective but it's something i have not yet tried. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated!

Congratulations to all the winners, and the top ten, and pretty much anyone who entered! It's not easy to open yourself up the way poetry demands, and it's even tougher to then post those emotions in a public forum... to be judged! I really enjoyed reading all these beautiful pieces.

Hopefully, I will get my future competition entries in before the final day. 😎
