Sprite has explained it and now you are fully aware of the criteria. Obviously you wrote a story ... and obviously, you are awesome.

Congratulations on both counts.

But, perhaps there are others with a different view.
My favorite ... Alberto Vargas, who 'painted' many years for Playboy and Esquire.

My compliments to the Lush Thugs that jumped on Ping for asking a sincere question. He was derided as a whiner ... but I checked his profile page and found that he has six RR's. Six! So, according to those that have the ability to grant RR's, Ping must have a pretty good understanding of what he's doing. I also want to suggest that you Thugs read all ten of Top 10 stories in the comp ... then read all of the rest of the stories and come back and tell us that you are 100% certain that those that made the cut were, indeed, the very best. I don't think that Ping was complaining, but advocating for a better system. As I read ALL of the responses in this thread I realized that there were whiners ... but they were the ones calling Ping names. You all belong to a loathsome lot.

If you want to have a fair competition, have all of the entries accepted by one person and all identification removed. Then let your panel of judges read and score them. The one person that accepted and verified the stories can then add the name of the author after the judging is finished. The current system isn't bad, but it does have flaws and could be improved.

Tonight I'll lift a glass to all the pompous, self-righteous asses that climbed on Ping's back today. Let's toast those who's shit doesn't stink.

By the way ... I don't know Ping. I've never talked with him and know nothing about him. But, this afternoon I sent him a friend request. I like a man brave enough to speak his mind.
Good for you! We are all very proud of you.

Now ... do it again.
I would like to see some type of 'symbol' beside a 'Famous' story. We have a 'thumbs up' for Recommended Read.' Why not something to designate a 'Famous'?
This past weekend I saw the new Star Trek movie. If you are a Treckie, you'll enjoy this movie. Lots of action and great special effects.
While I believe that Kate Upton has the body of a goddess, I think for a night of lust I would want someone that enjoy it as much, if not more, than me. I'll take Selma Hayek. A latin lover that would leave claw marks on my back.

I just finished reading a new story by DanielleX that was quite entertaining. It was Part 1 and I'm looking forward to part 2.
Looks like you are Da Man!

Imagine what you can do when you get rid of that pesky day job.
I don't know her, but her avatar suggests a hint of naughtiness ...
Alec Baldwin
Sean Penn
Charlie Sheen
Whoopi Goldberg
... all are just awful people and I refuse to spend one penny that might go to enrich them.

It would appear that Will Ferrell is the most unpopular actor listed on this forum. He is 'overused' and only does comedy for people under the age of 12.

If I don't love you yet, it's probably because I just haven't found you. I'm only a Lush contributor for four months (reader for six), so give me time. I want to read so much more, but when I'm writing at the pace I am now, I read less.
I had a note from a woman that told me that while reading one of my stories she had two 'bone rattling' orgasms ... what could be higher praise than that?
I do have a story that I rather enjoyed writing that didn't last long on the front page and wasn't viewed as much as I would have liked. It was a bit long, so I broke it into two parts ... Part 2 wasn't linked to Part 1 (of course), and most of the readers of Part 1 never saw Part 2. Is that confusing?

All that aside, my favorite would be The Westmorland Project https://www.lushstories.com/stories/seduction/the-westmorland-project.aspx
Show off that talent, sugarlump. You've got it .. now flaunt it!
AwsmBlkGrl has a ring to it!

I believe that should be a serious consideration!
I don't have many complaints .. you get what you pay for and I pay nothing to be here. But if there is one thing that annoys me it would be those writers that have 'blocked' someone who had the 'utter nerve' to give one of their post a score lower than '5'. How completely childish! I suppose those writers believe their work is so superior that it simply shouldn't be scored .. in which case they should just say they don't want scores .. period. Take the scoring option off and just be thrilled at the 37 followers that read your story. It is just so phony to block people from scoring. If there is someone that is giving a score of '1' when you have 35 scores of '5' .. complain to management.

I would further recommend that authors who have anyone blocked from scoring should not be allowed to submit stories into Lush competitions. That is simply .. cheating. Not that I think the judges give a rip what scores and comments are left, but still there is the look that 'those' writers are being given an advantage. If I am not mistaken, the rules of the competitions are supposed to make certain that no writer has an advantage over the others.
