I couldn't sleep on Wednesday night (on top of my wifi being weird) so I started writing something. Hopefully I can post it but if not, I'll try to think up something I can in the future.

I found an old poem I wrote when I was seventeen but I can't post it here - it wouldn't fit.

Oh, yeah, my boyfriend and I celebrated one year together on September 1.

Still feels like I've known him longer than that though.

I definitely have a new muse...or I would if I wasn't so tongue tied over him. Like I can talk about him just fine but writing...yeah...that's different.

Funny thing - my boyfriend once had three people tell him he looks like Neil Diamond all in the same day - and then nobody ever mentioned it again.

...so I started writing something yesterday and...I hated it last night. Don't know about today - haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

Best tip I can give for that is to write what I call bread crumbs.

Little fragments of story idea, dialogue, character description.

That way when you have a piece of the story you can find other little bread crumbs to mix together to give you an idea for a story to tell.

Always remember that you've already written a story so you know this is something you can do again.

It might flow together in the next five minutes or take much longer to all come together.

I know you can do it, when you're ready you're going to make something beautiful.

I'm proud of you, I believe in you and I know how talented you are even when you doubt yourself.

I've been trying that for the last few months but nothing has really happened yet.

Having a muse like Tommy helps a lot though...all of my best and dirtiest thoughts are about him.
