Okay, what software and where can I get it. If I run what you do then copy your markup all the edit marks will go with it then when I copy it back it's all there. Editing in that box is okay if it's a few things. If it's paragraphs, like your second example, that takes a lot of time.

The first image was a screenshot of how we (mods) see stories that have been edited in the submission box. The second example with the big blocks of highlighted text is what happens when a story is removed from the submission box, and added back in its entirety then submitted again.

It makes our job so much easier to do if you perform your edits in the box, rather than pasting it from an outside program.

As for checking your own editions, or for editing for others, I use an online program: http://www.diffchecker.com/diff ... This is handy for when writers remove the stories and paste the entire thing again. It shows the differences in another box, side-by-side so that they're all obvious. Complete with highlights.
From a writer's perspective, I'll say that the less-than-a-week turnaround you mentioned for hearing back on your stories is actually quite fast. Most all of the sites out there (a fair number of which I've been a part of) have a return/publication time of anywhere between a week and a half to a couple of months. So, less than five days is pretty darn good, in my opinion. Before I became a moderator, I was thrilled when it took three days to post a story, versus the two months I dealt with on other sites.

As far as your previous stories go, in the past year we've been working very hard on improving the overall quality of the site. Many stories that would have been verified two years ago are now returned and asked for further edits. We feel that this will make not only our writers better, but also lift the site in general to a higher standard.

Great answer, this is kinda what I was looking for.

Several answers have mentioned getting or being wet, which confuses me in a way. I'm horny quite often, but I don't have a perpetual hard-on. I can be horny, without sporting wood. I can have wood, and not have been especially horny up until just before whatever or whoever caused the erection If you're wet when you're horny, what got you wet? Other than stimulation. Can you be horny or on edge and NOT be wet? The above answer was good. Heightened sensitivity, flushed, the awareness of her hair.

I don't get wet, per se, but it's a LOT easier to get me there if I'm horny. I'll admit that as soon as there's some kind of sensual contact (stroking my nipples, kissing my ears, nuzzling my neck) I'll start to dampen, but no, just like a guy can be horny without an erection, a girl can be horny without being wet.

Well shit girl, that state of confusion can't be that far from Cali... Lets get some lambada going on.

LOL I used to live in Cali, actually. I've got my heels and dress ready! ;)
I have a few friends who can grope up on me without me or my boyfriend caring, but overall, my answer would be a resounding NO.

For one, it just smacks of creep. Granted, yes, a lot of the women who go to clubs are looking for some action, but not ALL. Some women (like myself and a small group of close friends I'll hit the bar with) just go there to unwind and relax, maybe have a few drinks (too many) and dance.

I had a guy come up while me and a girl friend were dancing at the bar, waiting on the drinks we'd ordered: it was a hip-hop song, so we were grinding and such, and I could hear him lick his lips. He said "Damn, what a fine phat ass" and as soon as I felt his bodyheat, I straightened and stopped dancing, making my disinterest in his attention clear. An hour later, his buddy decided to get brave and SMACKED my ASS. He didn't even say hello, just smacked and groped it. He very nearly got his fingers broken, if my girl hadn't pulled me back.

It's rude and disrespectful, in my opinion. It's one thing if you've got permission, or it's "your" girl. But to maul a stranger in public, just because she's dancing near/with you? Ugh. Not to mention the relationship issues it could cause.

With my select friends, my guy doesn't really care, because he knows the guys aren't serious: they're just being their normal, pervy selves. They're harmless. They also don't mean their friendly gropes to be rude, it's just playful fun. And I've never taken their antics seriously. Hell, my roommate and a couple of our other girl friends have been known to get up and do a group grind dance together. It gets our guys hot, and we also intervene as soon as anyone comes up that we aren't interested in.

Is it a fantasy? Possibly, and one that would be interesting to act out with my boyfriend if we go to a strange bar where no one knows us. But with strangers? Um, no. Just no.

I must agree: it IS better than any sleeping pill.

Especially after a long, stressful day and my brain just won't shut up. I'll read/watch something to get me aroused and then wind up in bed, "taking care of business" before curling onto my side to drift off. It always makes me wake up in a better mood, too!
I've given "road head" and a hand job to guys on a *giggle* handful of occasions, but always keeping a watchful eye on the road before/during. Don't wanna end my life too soon just because I want to be a little slutty!!
I've only received oral a few times, and the only time I actually came was on my back, edge of the bed with my toes barely on the floor.

I have this story which was published under a category which no longer exist on Lush, I edited it and changed it title and contents but forgot to edit the tags. I have submitted it and now I can't edit the tags. What should I do before moderators find my story violating some new terms and conditions?
Can I just go to 'My Stories' and delete it and then resubmit again?

Also, without deleting it, you can always send a message to a moderator who's online (found under Lush Contacts when you hover the question mark) and let one of us know it's not completely done. We're generally pretty quick to respond if we're online. And generally we're understanding when it comes to little things like that, so long as they're genuine mistakes.
I'll plead guilty to this in a heartbeat.

I discovered this pleasure purely on accident when rinsing off one day in the shower. The water pulsed and hit my clit just right ... and didn't leave for a few minutes after that! It's amazing, too, how altering the temp of the water just slightly can give a totally different orgasm. Or, even turning the removable shower head and giving it a different pulse pattern. It's just ... wow.

Also, another good one is the jacuzzi tubs, with the jets in the side? Yeah. Turn sideways, loop a leg over the edge of the tub and put that jet right where you want it. It's nothing for me to cum like crazy doing that!
I notice my body is a LOT more sensitive. My bra is more abrasive and cause my nipples to tighten without much difficulty. I also tend to feel slightly flushed, and look a bit pink in the face, from what my friends have said. I think one thing, too, that will set my alarms on red-alert concerning horny is that I can feel the weight of my hair more. How it moves, how it sets. The tickle of a curl against my neck ... I'm hyper-aware of my hair. (Which is halfway down my back)

I'll also find myself turning random things sexual in my mind. The vibrations of the trucks outside (I work for a truck stop) will resonate, or watching customers lick ice cream... It gets interesting pretty fast!
It's one of those things that it might be interesting to give a go.
Granted: but it sits on top of your TV!

I wish I had a bigger apartment.
I'd have to say my first goal is to hone my skills as a writer. Otherwise, writing here is a hobby, an outlet. I enjoy weaving a tale that my readers can relate to, and part of my craft is continuing to do so, hopefully with plenty of feedback! My favorite comments aren't (just) the ones that wax poetic about my abilities, but the ones that give encouragement to do more, or even tell me what they want to see.

Eventually, I do want to finish my e-Book, and win a competition, or two!
Not sure who Bill is, but I'm a people person, anyway! Let's get it on.

I'm probably one of the worst offenders of this. My sequels can be months apart. As a writer, I don't blame you for getting annoyed. The only thing I could say is that if I forced it, the result wouldn't be worth reading anyway.

I have to say that's where I am with my "Bella Gets Painted" trilogy. I know exactly where I want to go with the third and final chapter, but at the same time, life has gotten in the way. That and I have to be in a certain mood to write BDSM, which is what "Painted" is, a BDSM story. Right now, I'm also working an on-going story that I see going for a while, my new series "All in Time".

I'll readily admit I'm seeing 1-3 months between each chapter, but I'm also a single mother who works a full time job as a supervisor. And, any working stiffs out there know that when you're short-staffed at work (as we are now), that the supervisors and managers have to step into fill the gaps.

I've been hoping that the people who loved "Time" weren't upset with me, really.

It's something I'm working on. In fact, "All in Time, part three" was verified yesterday, and I've already got a few hundred words started on part four. Yay, me!
