I am also on the hunt for Mom’s ashes. Dad had the big urn. My sis and I had some in tiny birds. And well… I can’t remember where I put mine. I was waiting to bury with Dad’s ashes.

I need a hug or three. Dad’s had worst weekend to date. The Hosparus nurse came this morning. She said Dad’s experiencing terminal agitation now. It’s unbearable to watch. We’ve all decided to stop all meds and put him on liquid morphine. We were told he might not get out of bed again now. 😢 It’s been awful to watch the Devil’s disease — Alzheimers — steal Mom and now Dad’s dignity, comfort, independence.

I have not let myself grieve my best girlfriends, bf, parents who have passed in the last 7 years, and will need time once Dad passes to fully grieve, get myself together, and restart my life.

Difficult week with Dad. Had to switch out his bed in facility to a hospital bed and his walker’s now a wheelchair. No words for what it’s like to see him in this condition. It’s Mom all over again.

I wish we knew for sure Lion’s status. On heavy pain meds, maybe he just can’t log on or use his phone. 😢 I hate not knowing. He said a friend of his was going to contact one of us when he passed.
