This doesn't make any sense at all. Story scores aren't supposed to be representative of how many people read the stories. It's about quality, not popularity.

If no one has to "push a button" then whatever metric it is you're envisaging isn't actually a score, is it? Why would the site want to change "scores to reads" if there is already a 'views' metric on stories already?

The USPS is a fucking joke.

I ordered an item from a store in New York two months ago to be shipped to my address here in the UK. This is the path it has taken so far according to the tracking information:

2 - Jersey City, NJ
3 - Cincinnati, OH
4 - Erlanger, KY
5 - Melrose Park, IL

I make that circa 970 miles so far, all in the wrong direction! By the time it gets to me the carbon footprint will be astronomical. angry7

I made an Old Fashioned cocktail last night but tried something different with the garnish that I'd read online.

Instead of dropping in some orange peel directly into the drink, you cut a small piece of peel and squeeze it onto the drink through an open flame showering your cocktail with delicious, smoky, burnt orange oils.

I think its a geographic thing. According to a site I was looking at about troubleshooting Paypal issues, one specific reason why the Debit/Credit Card option may not be available to a customer is:

"The country your customers reside in. Not all countries have all PayPal features available."

I tested the link myself and it worked fine, I got the option to use a Debit/Credit card to make a payment. I then logged out of my Lush account, directed my traffic through Israel which is where your profile says you are located, logged back in, tried the link again and this time no Debit/Credit card option.

Perhaps Paypal are required to impose this restriction based on a customer's geographical location.

Edit: There's an easy workaround - I'll send you a PM.

I absolutely love my mechanical keyboard. Not cheap, but so worth the money. Anyone who does a lot of typing should definitely consider getting one.

The Corsair brand keyboards come with Cherry MX switches (underneath the keys) which are available in a few different types. Some are silent and smooth, some are springy, and my personal favourite are the blue ones which are clicky. It makes it sound like you're typing on an old fashioned typewriter and the more substantial audible and tactile feedback is just dreamy.

I think nowadays these keyboards are primarily designed for gamers, so they offer all these different key types with different operating forces and actuation points to customise the product to the user, but all this really means is that you can find a keyboard which you personally feel is super nice to use. Also, they last for a really long time.

I eventually removed the wrist-rest off the front of mine and bought a 3M gel rest which is squishy and lovely for extended periods at the keyboard.
