So many guys have been screwed over or "trapped" that a lot of guys don't want to risk it. I had my tubes tied before I got a divorce. I LOVED having my tubes tied for that reason alone. Before I remarried I told my husband I didn't want anymore kids, I had 2 & that was enuf. To make a long story short we ended up deciding to have a baby & I had a tubal reversal. I never did have my tubes tied again afterward because of problems I had after the first time. I've been considering it though only for that very benifit!! lol
Maybe he's just not a "moaner" or verbal person during sex. Some people are like that. Sometimes my problem is how to make me more quiet! I'll be trying to be quiet & think I'm not being load but I get carried away, he'll pull my face down on his chest or put his hand on my mouth. Have you thought about just asking him if he enjoys sex with you? Then say something like "I was just making sure because you never make a sound so I was worried. It's a way of letting him know you want noise in a subtle way. Maybe you can get the moans & etc from that then work up to getting him to talk dirty to ya from there. You know kinda like baby steps.

There really isn't an "ideal" time. It's all about the couple. Sometimes I just want a quickie & it can be any where at any time so it's just as stated a "quickie"! Then there's the times that you try to hold off & make it last as long as possible.
First day or so is out of the question unless it's in the shower. It's always helped with cramps when I have them. I tend to want sex even more the week or so before. Mine pretty much refuses to, I've talked him into it a few times but it was at the end of it. It really doesn't bother me. I guess it's just what ever someone prefers.

Not much for being on my back....a little to "boring" I guess you could say! Obviously you haven't had the right person on top. Moving back & forth isn't the way to go.......she can still ride you up & down, all she has to do is basiclly be squatting and use her feet to move up & down. As I get older my def of older isn't the same. I think the biggest age difference I've ever had was maybe 14yrs.
