Thanks, Kimmi. I'm going to be honest. This one means a lot, mainly because the Advent competition was chock full of really talented and accomplished writers, so to place in the top 10 was very surprising, if pleasantly appreciated, to me. Wow! Can't believe it! I had given up all hope!!

But, my 'Competition Top 10' badge (my first) for my Advent competition story, FINALLY (after 2-1/2 months!!!) showed up on my profile. Definitely an ardent lesson in Delayed Gratification.
