Thank you. In the same way that I hide my face, I also do not want to use my voice. I had been told that there are AI services out there that could transcribe my written word into a voice, but I cannot find one. All the ones I find are paid for, and the free sample I try sounds awful! If, as it seems, no such suitable programme exists, then that is fine; my stories will remain unread aloud. I just wondered if any of the lovely Lush subscribers knew of one. 😘😘😘

I would like to do an audio of one of my stories, but every text-to-audio site I can find requires me to pay up front. My stories are typically under 5000 words, say, 30000 characters. Can anyone recommend a free site that I could use? Thank you so much. Love, Mica xxx

oh that takes me back, all those floppy discs that had to be loaded in sequence. I even remember windows version 1.1 that would then have a sequence error just as the last the disk was about to be loaded....

I have to be honest, I have no clue how to use AI, however. I used to be a rather public face; I state as much on my profile, and I have very good reasons for not wishing to post my real face on my media photos. I therefore use 'Photoshop' to alter my face. The body is me (from my distant past, usually), but the face isn't. That is about the limit of my Photoshop skills, and I do freely say that I alter my face. I don't think I am breaking any rules here and would hope that someone would tell me if I am (or have ) broken any rules.

currently ben waiting a week for a story to be approved. As a new author to the site this does not encourage me to want to publish here. Also add the fact that to improve my approval time seems to require me to buy a platinum membership. Really? I effectively have to pay to get my stories published?
