It really is something we do not have a choice in as it is usually done shortly after birth, but be that as it may; I am glad I was circumcised as an infant.

I am not against bras, and actually love seeing a woman in a well fitting Demi Bra, Sports Bra, any lacy bra or even with only a Hand Bra.

I did not state that I do not 'accept' that bra-less breasts will sag more than bra-ed breasts, of course I accept that. Gravity has it's pull, thus bra-less breasts will surly swing lower than breasts while being supported by a bra, regardless of age, size or condition.

I merely 'questioned' if wearing a bra continuously will weaken the tissue supporting the breasts more so than not wearing a bra. I found the the quoted study on this issue which I linked to earlier. I would love to read of a scientific study with different results.
As you know, under the breasts are the pectoralis major muscle, which when exercised will lift the breasts, making them appear fuller. Yet the fitness of this muscle seems to have little effect toward the actual prevention of sagging.

Robert Mansell, a professor of surgery at the University Hospital of Wales, in Cardiff, reported that, "Bras don't prevent breasts from sagging, with regard to stretching of the breast ligaments and drooping in later life, that occurs very regularly anyway, and that's a function of the weight, often of heavy breasts, and these women are wearing bras and it doesn't prevent it." John Dixey, at the time CEO of Playtex, agreed with Mansell. "We have no medical evidence that wearing a bra could prevent sagging, because the breast itself is not muscle so keeping it toned up is an impossibility."

I do have to agree with Crazydiamond that if my balls were 'D' size I would never run, and doubt if I could even walk that bow-legged. Just as we men wear support when we exercise, woman surely need a sports bra when exercising.

I do seriously question if wearing a bra continuously will weaken the tissue supporting the breasts more so than not wearing a bra for daily activities. I cannot accept that bra-less breasts will sag more than bra-ed only because National Geography has shown few photos of native women that might have lived a lifetime of nutritional deficiencies. I have traveled to many countries and observed many full breasts that resist the rigors of gravity without support.

Additional kudos to Mazza for her comments, especially about reading it aloud.

If I might add the single most important thing I have learned at Lush is to allow sufficient time after writing a story before attempting to edit it... This prevents the mind from auto-correcting the grammar errors and allows you to read it fresh; I have found this to be as valuable as having a friend read it. Although it is difficult to wait, I feel this has helped me to reduce my own rejections.

I am left with one question regarding OWA's #3) Proofread the entire story before resubmitting. Verifiers can see exactly what has been changed when you re-send a story, granted that you've done it properly and edited the existing file instead of making a new one. You should proofread the entire story and not just the first couple paragraphs.
Could you clarify this a little? I usually edit my original Word document 'off-line' and then copy/paste into the box. Does this create a entire new document to the verifier who must then re-verify the complete story?

Writing ability is not gender specific, but viewpoint is. Women write more often from the female perspective, particularly when in first person; and many males prefer the female perspective as being more interesting or even arousing.

Yet, not all female writers are female, there is no gender verification on Lush, or any other websites that I know of. There are former writers on Lush and other websites, that were not the gender they appeared, and few photos are real.

So, in general, I would recommend to read many different authors of both genders, you will find some that appeal to you... then follow them. Don't read the story because you think her (or his) avatar is sexy, read because you enjoy their stories.

If you are going to edit the grammar yourself, you need to set the story aside for as long as you can. If you try to edit immediately, your mind will self-correct for those stupid typos we all make, but with waiting the story will no longer be fresh in your mind and you are more likely to find those errors.

Beyond that, I always try to comb through the story myself looking for editing errors in content, that are more apparent with a re-reading.
After all is done, I will sometimes ask a close friend to read it prior to posting.

I always look first at her face, to see her expression, as defined in her eyes, her smile, and observe her body language. It speaks volumes about the woman inside, if she is real or a stylistic expression of what she pretends to be.

I do put a fair amount of thought into the title. They represent the only words a potential reader will see as they peruse the variety of stories available, and will often be the single opportunity you have to present your story.
That said, on Lush it is less important, as the reader will also see the first few lines of the story, so one should strive for an enticing opening sequence.

I could not help but feel the original question might be interpreted to Porn versus Love Story. A short story without character buildup to capture the imagination of the reader remains a limited interest "quickie". This is acceptable for a five minute read, but fails to remain interesting enough to continue reading.
I would recommend to write a real story; one can still titillate a reader without going immediately into hard sex. Adding a characters sensual thoughts can help the story build, adding contextual motivation, and will do so without making them seem like a porn star.

But that is just my opinion...
