You might have to tell him to visit a urologist for professional advice, especially for his age. There are factors that he should also consider that may be the culprit. Is he taking drugs like Alpha blockers, 5-Alpha Reductase inhibitors, ADHD stimulants or psychotropic medications? Tamsulosin (Flomax), for example, improves urine flow and output but it can cause retrograde ejaculation. Around 40s or so, our testosterone decreases along with seminal fluid output. Add stress and dehydration to what you said above, that can result to reduced ejaculate. Sufficient hydration with water or eating fruits high with water content may help but not a guarantee. And, tell him to stay away from asparagus hours before a BJ. My ex banned the poor veggie in our diet.

That's certainly one avenue that has been considered.

Looking around the web at various ways sites have tackled this kind of thing, the common thread is that spam always finds a way, and all we can do is slow it down or make it more annoying so they go elsewhere.

If we say you can't create groups for N weeks, they'll create an account and wait N weeks then come back.

If we say you need to make X posts before being allowed to create groups, they'll just create X one-word posts.

If we say you can't post links, they will make links like h ttps://spamsite.com which will still automatically get made into actual links (like that) or at the very least get the domain name posted in many places to attract link juice/SERPS.

If we say you must post a story, they'll scrape one off another site and push it here.

Everything quantity-based that we would try to implement would backfire in some way or piss off members who want to create an account and start sharing legit content quickly.

It'll probably come down to implementing some sensible limits - like a bunch of hurdles - but quite what they would be and how we would use them to differentiate real users Vs people who just want to spam others is difficult to gauge.

I agree on those probabilities. They can be persistent. This may be a coincidence, mostly hypothetical. Not to deter paid and potentially paying members. However, I noticed that after my paid subscription expired, I was never added again to any group messages while others still kept getting them. I was thinking that they are targetting those with an active paid subscription. I could be wrong.

As a solution, how about adding a message subfolder for 'Message Requests'? All messages from any member whom the recipient user has never interacted through Lushmail and not in the Friends and Following (excluding Followers) list will be routed there. This is how most social media and messaging platforms are currently set.

There will only be one message request notification from that sender regardless of how many messages are exchanged within that group, including succeeding one-on-one messages, until the recipient does an action, either to accept, decline or report.

You can put 'Accept', 'Decline', 'Report', 'Decline and Delete' 'Decline and Leave' and 'Decline and Block' options for the recipient. Or add checkbox suboptions for 'Delete', 'Leave', and 'Block' if the recipient declines.

If the recipient selects the 'Decline' option with no further actions, that message will stay in the 'Message Requests' folder as a read message for a maximum of two months (or less) until it autodeletes. Any option that is not 'Accept' will stop new notifications to the recipient.

In the case of massive requests, you can add an option for multiple decline and/or deletion. A checkbox before the group message sender's name will be accessible for a single, as well as an easy 'Decline/Delete All' option.

This may help to prevent if not mitigate the burden to recipients getting unwanted messages, too. More control on privacy for members, higher satisfaction.

Not to burden the Dev Team, how about adding a 'Sort by category' option that sorts an author's stories per category in an alphabetical order, something that is accessible for readers, too.

Example:

Anal

Story Def

Story Qrs

BDSM

Story Ghi

Bisexual

No stories published in this category yet.

Cheating

Story Abc

Story Jkl

Story Lmn

😕 i like the site but would like to copy stories to add to them but find i can not copy a story

What do you mean by 'to add to them'?

Does this cover the posting of pictures of their 'wife' or 'girlfriend'?

Quote by Hasabrain2

I recently uploaded a story, and it is available, but how do I add categories/keywords?

Do you mean tags?

If so, and if your story has a note that says 'Currently being reviewed', click/tap on Recall. In the Edit Story page, look for Tags. Type into the textbox to search for the matching/similar tag word or phrase. If the tag is not on the list, select Create <word> at the bottom of the selection to add the unlisted tag word/phrase. You can add up to 10 tags. Once done, click/tap Preview then Publish.

If you mean adding tags to a published story, let's wait for someone who has published or a story mod to answer as to how to take your story back for editing. I'm not a writer so I haven't gone that far in navigating the website.

Congratulations to the winners!

👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

Side note: For the next competition, can you have one that will challenge the writers' creativity to use any other words/phrases besides fuck, cum, pussy, cock and dick? Those words must not be used throughout their story.

Is it possible to have edit capabilities on our profiles to give nicknames to friends or contacts (just visible to us)?

Customizing another member's name is not possible. You can, however, raise that as a site dev feature request.

As an option, you can use the Note feature on each of their profile, if the purpose is to remember what you nicknamed each one of them.

The site is ever so slightly wonky (technical term) tonight, so I'll post the results tomorrow.

The technical issues have been reported, so will hopefully be sorted soon.

It looks like Lush is not in its right element. Thank you for the update, Jen.

Hello all. I'm looking for a chastity cage either metal or plastic. The thing is most have a tube diameter of 38mm or less. I have quite a girthy penis so trying to find one of at least 42mm is hard. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check Amazon. There are up to 52mm

Thanks for these suggestions. smile I've just received the slight revision suggestions from my mod, which I've worked on. Keeping my fingers crossed that it gets approved this time.

(On a side note, I'm happy that you interact on here, even if you don't in the chatrooms. Haha! 😇 )

You're welcome. Congratulations for your story's approval!

(I used to banter until it became chaotic, with some rude, even demanding members at times. I prefer unrushed exchanges in the forums over sporadic chaos in the chatrooms. Lurking is not a violation.)

Hello! May I ask: How many days does it take to approve a competition entry?

I submitted mine yesterday. I hope it's not too late! ๏_๏

You submitted within the submission period. It may take days and a platter of patience for the mods. It depends on the story volume in the queue. Nevertheless, since it was submitted days before the close date, your story may be out soon provided it doesn't get rejected for valid reasons.

To ease your mind, I suggest you check to make sure that your story is not in your Drafts or message a story mod who is online to confirm that your story is in the queue.

In case it is stil in your Drafts, before you submit, make sure to toggle on the Enter Competition button located just above the Cover Image. That is to ensure that your story is properly tagged as a competitiion entry as compared to regular stories.

I wonder about the mentality of those submitting AI generated material. Jen et al. have not exactly been subtle or unclear about the site's stance on AI, both in this comp and in general. I see no way they could plead ignorance.

Do the people who submit them anyway think they are somehow the one that will slip through?

Or the one so good it will inspire a change to the rule?

Or do they see it as a protest against the no AI rule? Wear the team down sort of thing.

Anyhow, we have 60 human entries and a few days to go. That's pretty good, really. Wish I had the time and energy to read more but between vacation with limited Internet and illness, I have only scratched the surface.

If I may add, let's not forget the financial benefits. Bagging the prize money is their fuel instead of passion for the craft. Also, the $$$coins from potential tippers. For social clout. This can also be an avenue for them to capitalise on their 'popularity'. Gaining more friends and followers who think they can really write.

P.S. Feel better and get well soon.

PPS. No more AI stories-related comments here from me.

Quote by WannabeWordsmith

We have probably rejected nearly half that number of AI entries.

What a waste of time and brain cells for the story mods weeding out the wannabe writers! Excluding the site's only not-a-wannabe WannabeWordsmith of course 😉

Is there a way to take back/delete photos you've sent?

Open the message where the photos were sent. Click or tap on the side of the photo to highlight it. Click or tap on Delete that will appear below the photo in the message.

What is the deal with posting stories here? I wrote and posted a story almost three weeks ago and it is still “currently being reviewed”. The story was only 1,000 words and was not controversial in any way. I have written another story, currently in “drafts” because I apparently can’t post again while one is being reviewed.

Why would anyone bother to post with those parameters?

I know its been like this for a while, but didn't know the reason why?

The reasons why are here.

Quote by LeroyJerkins

There is an option in one’s profile the lets you not display stories published. I had an encounter with a writer who panicked because her 5 stories vanished. It was just that checkbox. She in checked and everything was fine again. Maybe just a “Lushthing” that the box is checked.

I am aware of that Privacy setting. When the 'Show my stories on my profile' button is toggled off, the Stories link doesn't show from the member's profile. When it is on, that is when it becomes visible and accessible.

From related forum posts, when a writer takes their story off from viewing by putting it back to editing mode, the story gets removed from the published stories list. In this case, the member's profile displays 1 story. For some yet to be known reason, it returns as 'non-existent'.

Can I send the name of the account to you through Lush Mail?

The member has one story in her profile but the stories page says she has not written any stories. Refreshing the page and the profile yielded to the same result.

~

Another member and I have encountered a similar issue with media (different member) before that says the member has not uploaded any photos even though there are public photos in the profile.

Ack, drat. That was reported yonks ago and I thought it had been fixed. I'll prod the dev team. Thanks for the nudge.

To add, the dark font colours in the Chatroom, such as maroon, are difficult to read when using the site's dark mode but looks fine with the browser's dark mode. In contrast, light fonts such as the neon green in light mode gives a an intense glare but works perfectly in dark mode. It possibly has something to do with the contrast, opacity and saturation. Every user has a preference and may not be keen to switch their theme and font colour preferences when it suits them well. A neutral fix that works on both ways will be appreciated. Maybe add an easy toggle switch, too.

Quote by SimpleSimon

When reading on a PC's web browser, there are add-ons to get dark mode and resizing is easy with CTRL-+ / - But on Android, none of this is easy to come by, so would be a great addition.

Lush has a dark mode option.

What web browser do you use for Android? If Chrome, you can access your Chrome settings. Look for Theme for the dark mode option and Accessibility for the font resizing option. You can also save the specific zoom size only for the site in settings.

I think the idea is you audio in your own voice, unless I am misinterpreting your post, but someone more in the know will confirm or otherwise.

I think she meant one of those that offer professional voice services, the kind where you pay for them to do voice recording for voiceovers, dubbing, or recording your story for audiobooks. It's quite costly. They charge per word. There are free AI options. However, most sound robotic. As an option, she can crowdsource for someone, not necessarily a professional voice actor, maybe one of the members here, who is good at it and willing to record her story for free. I've listened to several audio stories here which were recorded by another member's voice.

Quote by happytimes

where do I find that?

In addition to Jen's reply, you have these options.

Option A:

1. From the homepage, click on Write Your Own Story. It will give you the option to continue editing the existing draft.

2. Select the specific story.

3. From the Edit Story page, make the necessary edits and click Save, then click Preview, if any. If none, just click Preview.

4. Scroll to the bottom of your story. Click on Publish. Your story will be sent to the story moderation queue. Be patient. You will receive a Lush mail once it is approved or if any changes are needed prior to approval.

Option B:

Go to your profile page. Click on Stories. Click on Drafts.

Do steps 2 to 4.

Using existing characters is fine, so if the story works as a standalone, it will probably be okay. we just don't want a chapter of an ongoing series to be submitted.

Thank you, Jen.
