.... But I don't agree that "it's all relative".

If your premise is that "one person's war crime is another person's justified act of self defense", then I have to take issue with you. I do believe that some acts (and people) are just plain evil. We can try to understand what may have happened to them to make them the way they are. But in the end, I believe that we are all accountable for our own actions. Strapping a bomb to yourself and blowing up two teenage girls sitting in a pizza shop is just not an acceptable form of social protest, in my book.
...

There's the rub. Atheism - or even Deism of a disinterested Prime Mover, is also by definition moral relativism. Good and Evil simply do not exist outside their cultural definition. It can make for uncomfortable truths when nothing is written in stone.

I think that sexual aggression from one's girl is, for me, always a pleasant surprise. Not so much the 'mundane' trade off of who initiates things on a given day, but the more rare "tackle me and have your way with me" kind of aggression or the "dress so hot I can't stop drooling" unsubtle seduction. It's one of those things that lets me know she's as crazy about me as I am about her.

What a condom takes a way for the guy is the actual friction of flesh-on-flesh (it takes it away for the gal, too, but there is still some friction with flesh-on-latex. There's really no getting around that, but it's certainly not the be all - end all. I think MMonroe has the best advice if you're worried about it.

I don't find "breaks" too distracting or flow interrupting. My stories usually take shape agonizingly slowly anyway, and I'll often think about the story in fantasy form many times before I start writing, and during the process (and if I don't think about it after as well, then I don't consider it all that great).

An unbeliever here. In both "life after" and in "externally defined purpose". The only purpose we have in our lives is what we give it. Many, if not most choose to let a religion, or culture, or national identity choose that for them, because the idea of a naked, uncaring universe with no moral or ethical absolutes can be terrifying.

Lads, which type is your favourite?

The whole chart is too complicated. There are only four categories that matter: Mouthful, Handful, Double Handful, and "Woah!" My favorite are the first two.

Most of my stories would need female voices. Can I hold auditions? ;)

A (female) friend and I both had a crush on a (female) prof in college. I entertained that fantasy (2 and 3 way) a fair amount at the time, but have thought about it only rarely since. If I saw her today... it would probably be at her retirement party.

"Zafia" is under consideration for inclusion in the Oxford English Dictionary as a Noun, Verb, and Adjective.

Oh my! We simply must get you untied! In a few minutes...

I use first person in some stories, third person subjective, in others, and alternating 3rd person viewpoint and "omnipotent" third person in others. I once tried second person, but don't think it came out too well. I think short stories can work well in any point of view. It's all context and story dependent.

I write a lot of edgy stuff, but never: Parent/child incest, toilet cra- er, stuff, pain/torture/sadistic cruelty, anatomical impossibilities (not counting science fiction/fantasy), under age. Some lines I won't cross even on paper as they have zero or negative appeal.

Never ever let them force you to do something you don't want to do. If they keep up or increase the pressure I'd advise dumping both of them like hot rocks. No one needs the discomfort or potential danger of that situation.

On the other hand, if you have a real hidden desire for it, you should ask yourself why you see this as something to be afraid of instead of an opportunity. Perhaps you don't trust either or both of them enough yet, and that's an important piece of knowledge.

I completely agree, yet I also completely disagree. There are, in my experience and preference, two (at least) kinds of erotica. There's the good read, which is all of what you guys are talking about, and there's the stroke story. I fully enjoy reading and writing both. Erotica takes more time and investment to read, and certainly to write. A stroke story... doesn't. Lush is much more an erotica site, but don't dis them strokes. Right to the action, long or short, they are the literary equivalent of quickies, and they have their place.

Now that doesn't really answer CQ's question. My answer, since I like the short and the long, is that sex in a well written erotic story must be greater than 0, but does not have to equal 1.

Too many to count, of course.

The best from Star Wars is "I've got a bad feeling about this" in several different places.
"We're going to need a bigger boat" from Jaws.

(I actually wrote a story (unsuitable for posting at Lush) about that very thing - a childhood nightmare of a friend of mine turned into something even more twisted).

stuart was backup goalie for the Boston Bruins for the 1997-98 season.

I worked for a while as a brassiere salesman, but my co-workers were all boobs, I never really fit in, and finally had to bust out of there.

stuart has the user name he does because he was conceived in the back of a 1975 Plymouth Valiant.

I worked for a gunsmith for a while, but they fired me because I came in loaded all the time.

I had to pull out of the job at planned parenthood because I couldn't stop coming in.

I tend to like bare feet better. I think the association with heels and 70's porn became a turnoff (or at most a "meh") for me long ago.

I don't know why I keep getting double posts. This is problematic.

I'm forced to think of Adam Carolla's take on this: "Rape is not a sexual crime; it's a violent crime... where you come at the end." While he says it sarcastically, there is something to it.

I think that's absolutely correct. The seeds of , and the seeds of fantasy often - but not always - come from completely different places. It's the "not always" that gives pause.

And please drive careful, casltequeen.
Active Ink Slinger
Hang on. I can understand castlequeen's POV here. And I disagree with it up to a point - but only because I think she's missing part of the picture.

Rape and other non-consent fantasies are not always, and I would argue not often about violence or hate. They are mostly about control - and/or being controlled, depending on who is the fantasizer. It can be looked on as an extreme form of D/s.

Using myself as an example, I've written many nc stories of various kinds, but harbor no misogyny in me. I'd never for a second would consider acting in that manner, and personally believe and posted elsewhere that could easily be considered a capital crime. But that doesn't mean the fantasy is a damning character flaw - or a predictor of behavior.

On the other hand those that have and write about these fantasy subjects need to know that castlequeen's perceptions are neither unique, nor entirely unfounded.

I would imagine 'finger piggybacking' might work. Have him put his finger right over yours as you find it, then switch and put yours over his.
As for how to get him to do it, you could tell him truthfully that this is one of the things that totally gets you off. If you haven't cum with him, then he is clearly missing out - though he may not realize it. Making your woman cum is tied for the top two experiences of sex, at least for yours truly, so he's so far cut out of half the fun. I guarantee that if he realizes he can do it, and watches you when it happens, he'll be hooked and will not sweat any 'learning curve' it might take.
