I have a girlfriend, I live with her and we are in a long term relationship. I have visited chat rooms since before we started going out and have continued to do so during our relationship. My girlfriend knows I used to visit them before we met, but does not know I visit them still. It isn't the case that she has asked me and I've lied to her face saying I do not visit them, it's simply a case of it hasn't come up and I haven't mentioned it.
When I go into chat rooms; I remain anonymous, I keep it to the point (sexual orientated role plays or discussions), I do not stray from that chat room e.g. I do not give my mobile number, I stick to an alias you might say - as in I am not myself, and I don't go there with the intention to make friends or bring it into real life. She knows I masturbate to porn though, and I consider this [chat room nonsense] an extension to porn. My girlfriend is vanilla so I use chat to explore and discuss the ...finer things in life. LOL
Outside the Internet I am shy and cowardly so I don't have female friends (just work colleagues) vs her whereby she's confident and easy to talk to so she speaks with a few.
My question is this, if you discovered your boyfriend doing the above - what would your reaction be? Would you want to know?
