I do not read books very often for pleasure. I hardly ever read poetry unless it is on a greeting card. I mainly read for current events, publications for keeping up on what is going on in my professions. I have read a few short stories on Lush.

My favorite books are: My Bibles, I use 19 versions to study. The few books I have read for pleasure include, Chuck Yeager's book, "Chuck Yeager". I read a good book a few years ago titled, "The Heart Mender: A story of Second Chances" by Andy Andrews. It is about a true story of a German Sub in the Gulf of Mexico and romantic fiction. Andy found a tin box while digging up a tree next to his house in Alabama. There was pictures of Hitler on a sub, along with other pictures, and some buttons off of a uniform. He did some research and found the officer. He was one of the sub's officers and was shot while the sub was being refueled by an American traitor tug boat Captain. He fell into the water and hid until the tug left. He held on and was towed in to shore where he ended up on the beach. He was found and treated for his gun shot wound by a woman living near the beach. Her husband had been killed by a German soldier. They eventually got married and moved to New Orleans. They were still alive when the book was written. The sub was found while an oil company was exploring the floor of the Gulf of Mexico for an oil well or pipe line. I also read one more of his books titled "The Traveler's Gift". I also read Art L. Williams book called "Common Sense". It is about preparing for you financial future. His advice worked for me and Brandie (NOLAHotGal).

Chuck Yeager. As a pilot myself, I felt like I was with him as I read his life's story.
Andy Andrews: I liked the way he used an event from WWII and weaves into it a love story.
