My son was into Pokemon when it was just a card game and a cartoon, so it came as no surprise that he got into Pokemon Go. At least it's something he and his girlfriend can do together as it seems she's just as big of a geek as he is. I won't lie... he's made me so proud. Nice to know I raised my boy right.
Loved the sarcasm in the email. Or was it sincerity? Honestly, I can't tell anymore. You are so delusional that you think I see things the way you do... when I see the truth. I see through your bullshit... and your lies. I see the whole picture and not just the portion you want me to see.

I see you for the person you are and that is what you are truly afraid of.
Yours: lick, suck, tease, taste. Watching the waves of pleasure across your face until you scream.
Mine: A good vibe makes me smile & cum.
If you don't want anyone to score your story, then don't allow any readers to vote. Simple as that. Most story sites allow voting for the purpose of the reader to give the author feedback. Sprite's right about the issues of other sites. They tend to get a higher percentage of trolls and people who will trash your score for basically no better reason than because they can. At least here, the members will proved real feedback (usually though a PM, but some will leave a comment) about how good or bad they felt your story was. I think Verbal said it best about how not all stories get all 5's... and the bulk of us do not complain about this.
The Queen of the Poisoned Pen strikes again! Only now, you're the Queen of the Poisoned Word Processor. And you wonder why some people avoid you like they do. The person who needs a shrink is you.
If your passive-aggressive bullshit wasn't enough, you can't fucking answer a simple fucking question! I've asked four times and you pussy-foot around. News flash... the Bank of Me will be shutting down soon due to lack of funds. Instead of wasting money on bullshit, pay your fucking bills! I budgeted my money so I could purchase certain items. I had to make some adjustments due to circumstances that arose, and I dealt with it all. What do you do? You spend money faster than you earn it. Money burns a hole in you pocket so badly it's not even funny. You bitch about those keeping up with the Jones' when you are guiltier than anyone else I know!

You're in the situation you're in because of your actions and your choices... not mine.

Right... because you're barely 21 Rachael.

I'd like to thank Nicola and Gav for adding the "Donate" button to the home page. Thank you!

I just saw that... how awesome!!!

Toolbar's are so old school. Most have an icon of a 3.5" floppy disk for a save operation, how many people here remember those!

I DO!!! I DO!!! In fact... I think I still have some along with my 5.25" floppy discs that still operate my Commodore 64 (I'm so old school).

To bold text, surround the word(s) with a * e.g. *this is bold*
To italicise text, surround the word(s) with a _ e.g. _this is italic_
To strikethrough text, surround the word(s) with a - e.g. -this is striked through-

Thank you for this. I knew about the the *bold*... the others was what I didn't know. Thank you.

Coco's thinking is the same as mine. Poetry and prose are generally regarded as separate "genres", and certainly in the English-speaking world are treated separately. The fact that they are separated on the home page suggests that Lush does too.

To piggy-back on this... if poetry and prose weren't considered separate "genres", then we wouldn't have different rules for them and here on Lush we wouldn't have the separate tabs on the home page. I think this idea of acknowledging those amazing poets we are blessed with (like AvrgBlkGrl) is a wonderful idea and might even encourage more poets to step up and try.

Chuckepoo has said it often, with me as an echo. I'm asking again.

It would be wonderful to delete things from one's timeline, because they are not of any interest, or even perhaps because they are offensive. Or simply just because I don't want to see them there.

Recently a friend posted a series of nice pictures on my profile. I really didn't like one of them for a fairly specific reason. There was nothing generally wrong with the picture, but I had a specific, personal reason for not liking it. So I deleted the post from my profile. However, the picture stayed on my timeline until it got bumped by other things, which took a while, since I didn't have a story out to be generating votes and comments.

Some timeline items are useful once, like when you're quoted in a forum. Once I'm aware of that, it would be nice to delete it, to declutter my timeline.

Or when someone accidentally quintuple comments on a story, each comment generating an entry on my timeline.

It seems to me that if I can delete things from my profile, which is the public face of my lush identity, I should be able to delete them from my timeline, which is the private, user-end side of my lush identity.

Thank you for considering it.

Considered and actioned. Let me know if you have any issues with it.

I know I said this earlier... but I wish to repeat the joy that this ability to delete items from my timeline has brought. A few quotes were deleted from a forum thread earlier today and it was so nice to delete them from my timeline and not see them anymore. Thank you again Gav for all you've done. Keep up the awesome work.

Where did you get that idea? I'm an amateur sarcastaballer at best.

OMG! You're an amateur all right!

See, no need for a special font. Bravo!

Right... because you always catch sarcasm.

Apology accepted.

What do the stats say about 'historical' or 'gay male'? Should all categories get their own badge requirements?

Sarcasm... well played.

Quote by Coco
I was not thinking in those terms. For some reason, I and I'd assume most here, look at poetry as something separate from stories, not a category of a story. Gay male, historical, and others are categories of stories. In other words, one cannot write a poetry story but can write a historical story. Heck, it even has its own tab on the home page.

I agree that something should be done to encourage and reward our amazing poets. I know getting an RR or an EP is great, but even those awesome pieces don't get the views that a well written story in any category (like gay male or historical) will get.

oh don't have sour grape I just pay attention ..everyone who writes here are geniuses ..I don't write ..I just observe .. not bitter either ..bitterness is a wasted unnecessary emotion ..God bless all of you

Then why would you say you think it's better if mods & their friends don't participate? Did it ever occur to you that the Mods were picked for a reason? Even Clum called you out on this, not that you bothered to respond to him for whatever reason. The comps aren't rigged and if you really think they are then PM Nicola with your concerns.

Your sarcasm is truly unnecessary. Not everyone who writes here is a genius... but there are a lot of highly talented writers who have great ideas and a good proofreader or two.

Maybe when you "observe" you can learn to pay better attention. Despite what others say, you came across as bitter to me.

To be able to insert pics into the text of stories like in Publisher and Word. This would greatly enhance storytelling by providing immediate visualization of lovemaking and other provocative graphics. I understand we are able to insert a pic at the top of a story, but its impact becomes lost as the reader scrolls down. Please consider this suggestion and give it a priority! Thank you! Thanks to all Lush staff for all that they do!! Love to all, Andi xxxooo

Speaking just for myself, I actually hate this idea. I think it would make the stories look cheap and tacky. I wouldn't want to read any story that was filled with pictures of tits and ass. The whole point of writing is to paint the images with your words.

I completely agree with Liz! Adding pictures would cheapen the amazing stories we have. Plus, those with paid memberships did so to avoid the adds of naked women and such. If a story is well written, it doesn't need any real pictures... the author's words will paint them in our mind.

Golf is in the Olympics this year (if any of the players actually show up), but that is not a sport.

And I'm not opening that up for debate, because if you think golf is a sport, you're wrong. It's a good walked spoiled.

I couldn't agree more that golf is not a sport, but a good walk spoiled. Mark Twain so had that right.

it would be better if mods and friends of mods didn't participate .. wouldn't fell like it is rigged and everybody feels like that have a chance ..but good luck and God bless everyone

Have you ever heard of sour grapes? If Mods & friends of Mods didn't participate... there would be almost no entries. Instead of being bitter... trying writing a great story. I suggest you find someone to proofread your story before you submit so any silly errors can be found. You'd be amazed what a fresh pair of eyes can find that you didn't see.

Bottom line... if you don't like the comps... don't enter.
It's not my fucking fault so stop blaming me for your stupid mistakes. You can't even be happy for me. No, you have to blame me for your stupid fucking mistakes. You're a fucking adult so start acting like one. Grow up and take some responsibility for your decisions. Accept the consequences and stop blaming the wrong person/people. The person you should blame is you.
