I'm curious where some people got their driver's license because I think Cracker jack is issuing them again. Who the fuck makes a right turn from the left turn lane on one major road to another? Turn signals seem to be broken and now you're not sure if some idiot who is texting or looking for a stupid Pokemon. I'm not in the mood to get t-boned because you're too stupid to pay attention. I swear I'm going to invest in a dash-cam for my car just to post this shit on YouTube. At least it might get some laughs or some, "Holy shits!"

I'm in. My story will have plenty of bouncing balls. Surfs up.

I would expect your story to have lots of bouncing breasts, bouncing balls, and surfing.

I'd like to see a limit on how many pictures someone can post on your wall in one posting. I'd say no more than 2 pictures allowed in one post.

This would be nice. Then your timeline isn't so clogged up.

I fail to see how you came to that conclusion tbh or where in my post i insinuated that I have lush open whenever I am online?

Kiera, you are so funny. So, since you didn't understand why I said what I said, allow me to show what you said that let me to what I said...

Quote by kiera
If it was limited just to lush it would be ok, but it pops up in every window I have open... it was a little awkward the other day because SJ sent me a BB complaining about his cooties and how badly they itched and my sister just happened to be using my laptop at the time

Now, your relationship with SJ is your business, but you were the one who wrote the above message... not me. And for these alerts to "pop up in every window you have open" means you have Lush open in one of those windows.

Then there is this phrase...

Quote by kiera
It is good in a way that it makes it harder to miss a message if you're floating around the site which can be annoying, that said, though it also makes it harder to pretend you missed messages from people you don't feel like talking to at the time or who constantly message you which can be annoying.. not that I ever do that of course

Now, you can just set yourself as invisible so no one knows when you're on. Many of us including our wonderful Mods use this exact setting so we can surf Lush at our leisure without interruption.

Quote by kiera
Can be a tad annoying seeing those people who consistently log in and out every 10 seconds because not only do you get the alert pop up in 2-3 boxes here now, but you get it on any other website you might be browsing... I would imagine this could be a little distracting for people watching porn at the time seeing "Kiera has just signed in, poke her" for example every few seconds, unless of course they do in fact want to poke me/them in which case perhaps this is a good thing

Here again, for this to happen means you have Lush open in one of your windows. Gav, correct me if I'm wrong here, but my experience has been the pop-ups only appear when I'm actually ON Lush... and not just on the internet. Hence, I have one of my windows open to Lush.

Quote by kiera
Obviously, the first part of my post was me jesting...SJ got rid of the cooties a few months ago, he is clean for now so long as he steers clear of N69

I sure hope SJ knew this was a joke. It kinda read like you were outting him. However, SJ is a good fellow so maybe he knew you were just being a brat as usual.

I actually like it for the most part and it's really handy if you are chatting to someone, but also say, perhaps on Facebook too, so you get a message when they reply instead of having to keep flipping screens and checking. Privacy is not an issue for me, it doesn't matter all jokes aside (sorry SJ the devil made me do it ) if anyone using my PC see's a message pop up because they know I come on here and I also have no significant other, but that is not the case for everyone so I would think that having the options to turn this on or off, or at least the option to just limit it to lush if you have not done so already might be the way to go, but that is just my

All in all, great job, Gav biggrin

So, you have Lush open every time you're on your computer? While I love Lush, when I'm done here I exit out and move on. Hence, when I'm not on Lush, no pop-ups. It can be handy when your BBing with a member and you click on a link to read something someone shared, you know when they've responded. Too often I don't hear the ping because I keep my volume low.

The notifications are great and I'm glad they are here. If you loan your computer to a friend or sibbling, close or logoff of Lush. It's really that simple.
Lush is a porn site for the mind. I don't need graphic videos or seductive pictures to visualize what the the author is trying to convey. It's for adults who enjoy reading well written erotica. We are blessed to have chat rooms, groups, and the forum to discuss more than just sex, but politics (Think Tank), story ideas, pictures, and so much more.

Good to see some of you find this a useful feature. I understand concerns over unwanted notifications appearing on your desktop.

I was toying with the idea of showing the persons avatar that is associated with the message. But then the thought of a masturbating daffy duck being presented to the other patrons of my local coffee shop has me doubting this feature.

Thoughts?

It's great when you're bouncing from window to window. I'd pass on the avatar though... Mysteria's wiggling bare ass would be just too much.
The Huntsman - Winter's War

We have a great discount theater. $2 for regular and $3.50 for 3D movies. Sure they are either closing in or already on DVD & BluRay, but who cares... I'm not paying an AC bill for two hours.

Want to see the new Ghostbusters, The Secret Life of Pets, Finding Dory, and Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them
Okay... the thread I just started may get killed, but you can never wish Nicola too many times.

The woman who made Lush possible is celebrating her birthday. Let's let her know that we love & appreciate all she's done for us here at Lush.

Considered and actioned. Let me know if you have any issues with it.

I didn't even notice this until I saw this in the thread. I tried it out on a post on my timeline I didn't want to see anymore and BOOM! Post gone! Thank you so much Gav for this!

I saw the "pop-up" and clicked yes. I figured I'd give it a try. Looking forward to seeing how it works.
I'm sure this has been asked for before... but is there anyway to have different fonts... specifically... one to reflect sarcasm. Don't worry if this isn't possible... this request could just be ironic.
For me, sex before 25 was all about him and his needs. Did he cum or not? Did he enjoy it? Then as I got older I started demanding my needs be met. Sex over 40 is now all about me and my needs, though I never neglect him. Turns out, when both our needs are met, it's so much better.
One of the "required readings" at my school for our 7th graders is "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". Now, I know Elie Wiesel did not write this, but it allows both the history teachers & the ELA teachers to introduce and/or expand on the holocaust. Thus, names like Elie Wiesel come up. I have some videos that I show before we read this novel and of course Elie Wiesel comes up.

“For the dead and the living, we must bear witness.” Let us never forget his words.

Now this is a true example of grace and elegance. To be celebrating 100 years of life... is truly incredible.

I have to agree with what Felix has to say here. You co-write with someone cause it is fun and you learn from each other. If you agree one person should post over the other person, for whatever reason and then later on complain about it, it seems pretty dumb to have done it at all. Not to mention your probably makin the other person feel bad. You're writing for pleasure and if all you care about is the awards like RR's and EP's, post them on ur page or don't co-write.

I wanna add in my own yes to the mix for a co-author badge. I've written with 2 people and think it would be nice. I also like getting badges. I think people either love or hate badges and those who love em, wanna collect as many as they can. I like when people think of new badges for us to earn, because there aren't a whole lot of them.

It would be cool if co-stories had a tab, so people who wanna read from dual writers can find them easier. I think many people agree on that.

Did you read anything else past what Felix said? I ask because the discussion did evolve to a new badge and a link to be added with the co-author's info. Oh... and those of us who did say something... are speaking up for our co-authors. Maybe if you had actually read what we wrote you would have seen that.

Read Coco's post, Milik's post, & VirgoGo's post. Hell even Principessa & Buz made some great arguments for a change on this topic.
