Good enough to be by your side ;) but you promised, here you wont act like the teacher that you are....
And I can't satisfy you through definitions etc, I think you need a little exploration lol ....

This is true... but I wasn't asking as a teacher... I was asking as your friend... someone who knows you... and someone who loves you in that "special" way. I'm sure you can "show me" exactly what being "good" looks like to you.

I do too... but it wont stop the trolls..they will just make new accounts and low score you...again.

One thing I do query.

How does it work?..The scoring system?

You can get a load of top scores then 1 low score and it takes you eons to recover from it??

How does one low score cause such an inexplicable turn of events?...Likely the answer to that is the ultimate result of "said" problem.

As I was told by a Mod some time back when someone gave me a 2 (not that I gave a shit mind you), it take 20 votes for a low score to be dropped or negated (I don't remember his exact words so forgive me for my paraphrasing.) Now, I may have this number wrong, but so what. If a person reads my story and feels it's worthy of a 1 or 2, then I hope they at least comment or PM me to tell me why they felt my story was so substandard.

I read a story of hers (Sprite)..and we all know she is crap at writing

OOOOOHHH... Sprite's gonna kick your arse!
When we first dated, he had these black pants with spider webs on them that were "painted" on. Now... when he dressed up for me. Nice shirt, slacks, or his suit... oh fuck... the girls go crazy for a Sharp Dressed Man!!!

To be a good girl :P

Define "good"... because knowing you... you've already "blown" that resolution.

Such a like-minded friend hehehe :P

Well... isn't that why we're friends?

I personally do not like the force comments.

I never low score anyone, but I also do not always feel like commenting....being told I have to comment makes me not score.

I am not sure this option is the answer for trolls it leaves you lacking any constructive feedback from writers with more experience imho.

Fuck the 1's I think we should get a badge if we get a 1

I think you should do away with this option imho.

If people are going to write than they should be prepared for writers who may give advice on how your writing could be better...not demand a score and comment which I assume is because you don't want less than a high score.

by way of example..its 7am..i just woke up..someone spammed me about a story..I HATE spam btw...usually dont bother reading it on principle but its early so I did and went to score 5 as i liked it..was told I had to leave a comment so I didnt bother.

My

I agree the "forced comments" are my least favorite thing. Like Kiera, I rarely vote because of it. I understand the logic behind it, but it's not my favorite feature. However, it would be nice if we could have an opt-out option that might say, "Member declines to comment at this time."

I know... I know... more work for Gav.... & it's just a suggestion... but I hope it's at least slightly considered.

Would you recommend the Sleeping Beauty Chronicles then? The only Anne Rice book I've read is Pandora (a while back), which was the first time I read about sexual scenarios from a woman's perspective.

HELL YEAH!!!

I will warn you that in books 2 and 3 she changes the POV from a 3rd person to a 1st person in some chapters. However, you are warned as you'll see the name of character who's talking (I think it's Tristan... but an asshole ex stole my books.) These books were my first exposure to oral, anal, gay (male and female), and rough sex. It stirred feelings in me that I never knew existed.
A couple of teachers I work with.

As for Lushies... they know who they are.
I was in high school and had just gotten into Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and her other books when I talked my dad into getting me her Sleeping Beauty Chronicles for my birthday. Little did I know what I had just purchased. From chapter 1, I had been forever corrupted and found a new love for the world of erotica.
I was already posting on two other sites when a friend (who is no longer a member here by his own choice ) suggested I come here. He felt this was a more friendly site and that we'd get both more fair representation as well as building up our respective fan bases. My first story, Dawson, posted on August 4, 2012, and has led to my posting many, many more. Now I have over 50 stories, 19 of which have earned an RR and one that is a Famous Story. I've entered several comps and been blessed with a few Top 10 - Honorable Mentions.

Congrats on your first of what I'm sure will be many more amazing stories.
I try to pick new names for my characters, though a few times I've had a repeater. Sometimes I pick a name with symbolism connected to the story, other times I just Google baby names until I find one I really like.
After having both my ex-husbands cheat on me, I do know the pain.

Husband #1 didn't tell me, I found out by finding the condoms in his jacket & the love letter in a book. I have forgiven him.

Husband #2 not only lied to me about fucking the whore... he got her pregnant. Obviously... I have not forgive him... but I have let it go.

Now, if my husband now did cheat on me, I'd want him to tell me right off. It wasn't the cheating that hurt... it was the lies and deception that were the source of my pain. The not telling me, the lying by omission, that's what truly hurts.

My resolution is figure out how it make my guys get along. Gawd, men can be such boys.

It's due to the fact they think with the little head. And it's why we love them so.

lol these are very interesting but not all of them are teacher specific; they apply to others too smile

True... and some are just funny.
