My question is on the use of drugs, specifically "hard drugs," as stated in the AUP. Quoted: "Anything illegal and contrary to the laws of England, Wales and Ireland, including (but not limited to!) the promotion, suggestion or allusion to , or any non consensual acts, hard drugs or any other kind of illegal activity." I take "hard drugs" to be morphine, heroin, cocaine, and crack. It appears pot is ok. Roofies would be banned because they obviate consent. What about ecstasy or other mood-altering substances? Would I have to submit a question to a mod with the specific substance to ascertain whether or not it would be allowed?

There's an old joke, you may or may not have heard it or a variation thereof:

A man enters a bordello. The madame trots out the stable, the man makes his choice. They enter the boudoir. The man removes his trousers, displaying a five inch erect penis. The woman laughs and says, "Who you gonna please with that little thing?"

"Me," the man says. "me."

Do you write for yourself? Stories whose plot lines went to a dead end? I've had some of these. Do you abandon those whose development goes awry? What happens to them?

That has been my experience. An unpublished story will say it's part of the series, but when you click on the series itself, the unpublished story doesn't appear in the list of stories.

And after the story goes live, I like to check the order of the stories in the series; sometimes the newest story gets slotted first or second in the list instead of last (or maybe the first story stays at the bottom of the list and everything else slots in above it in the correct order?). 🤷‍♂️

Thanks, Chet. I currently have a story in the approval process. I'll see what happens when I publish the first of the series when that one has cleared.

I don't see anything here that addresses my dilemma. I have five drafts that I want to make a series. At the bottom of the first story I click the box for "Series" and create one. I then click "Save", then "Preview." In the preview I see the series dropdown with the correct title but the story does not appear in the list. Is the title added to the list at publishing or am I missing something?

Beef stroganoff in a crockpot, over wide egg noodles. Lots of onions, lots of mushrooms, heavy on the sour cream.
