I tend to be like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. If you tell me there's even the smallest chance, I still have hope. So if it was me you were dealing with, I would say, make it absolutely clear that there is no chance. Don't leave any room for hope just to spare feelings. Make sure there is no room for misinterpretation.
I would consider it cheating, but depending on the circumstances, not a relationship killer. As long as it only happened once.
I wonder if that is stress. Relax, and it should get better. I know for me it took a bit for my stomach to get used to a different diet.
When I was a teen, I had a hard time putting on weight, and then when I went back to college after a few years in the workforce, I actually put on 25 pounds of fat my first year in school. Not healthy at all, especially for someone with one kidney and and a family history of diabetes. I had to give up a lot of favourite (fatty) foods, and had to get back to excercising regularly. Now I'm back to a healthy weight, and slowly building muscles, but I miss hamburgers, bacon, and many other fatty foods I either no longer eat, or eat a lot less of now.
I have found time and money to be the biggest issues in eating healthy, especially for a student. As was already mentioned, cooking bulk, and then eating leftovers is a good way to do it. Pasta is a healthy meal with a lot of carbs, and it takes no longer to cook 3 or 4 servings of it than it does one. So I will often save some pasta for a later meal when I'm in a hurry. A cold pasta salad with light dressing and your favourite vegetables, cheese, and cold meat mixed in is a good quick meal.
I definitely vote for her voice. Far more intimate.
"Help" that does more harm than good.
As a former pool boy, I have to say you did a great job Rocco.
If I can just let it go, I let it go. But I did have one situation where my date kept getting her ass grabbed by some guys at a party, so I had to throw a punch to get the message across. No fight, just one punch, but it was enough to finally get them to back off.
I think we've found something we all agree on!
Chef, I would go even farther than that with accents. Since the language is called English, I don't think we can say that anyone in North America speaks it without an accent. I know that different parts of England have different accents too, so I'm not sure where you would have to go to find someone who speaks the original, basic, unaccented version of English.
I would definitely recommend telling her. Because if in your role as her friend, you help her see that her current guy isn't good enough for her, and then she later finds out you have those feelings, she is going to question whether you were truly acting in her best interest, or whether you manipulated her into dumping him so you could be with her. Better to put your cards on the table, so there is no second guessing later on.
I still see that as a defeatist attitude. Just because it's law doesn't make it right. That's why you have a supposedly democratic system. If enough people don't like it, they can CHANGE the laws. And that's leaving out the fact that I don't think the Arizona immigration law would stand up if it was challenged as being unconstitutional.
I'm not an American, so I'm not as familiar with your laws, but I know that in a free and democratic nation like Canada, you don't even have to tell a police officer your name if he or she asks you for it. If they arrest you, then you must provide it, but if they don't have a reason to arrest you, you have no obligation to provide it.
The point everyone is trying to make Chef, and that you seem to be missing, is that you are heading down a slippery slope in which you are giving away your personal freedoms one step at a time. But maybe you enjoy living in a police state.
Like meeting anyone, it deepends on the person. I've had three women that I made plans to meet in real life. One, I knew within a week I wanted to meet her in real life. The other two, it took a while for me to realise that I wanted more than just an online relationship with them. One, I knew for 4 months before the idea crossed my mind. The other took 2 months.
Sadly, I've experienced the downside of the online to real life experience, and not the upside like some of the more fortunate members above. None of the 3 girls who planned to meet me ever did. In fact, soon after agreeing to meet me, all 3 disappeared from my life. (3 different times, not all at once) So be careful. Because there is nothing worse than the feeling of helplessness when someone you really care about just disappears with no explanation why.
We will miss you Lexy. If you ever change your mind, remember you are always welcome back. As I've ended I don't know how many messages to you: "Have fun, and never forget how amazing you are. I know I won't."
Jeremy
I always enjoy constructive feedback, regardless of the source. Every person brings a new perspective that I can learn something from. Commments are always more useful than votes because I know who made the comment, and can approach them to expand on what they said. There's nothing more annoying than getting a 2 on a story, and not being able to understand why the voter felt it deserved a 2, and what needed to be changed to get a higher score. I may not agree with the voter, but I would want to understand their view either way.
I'm not sure what stereotype you are talking about. A lot of women love an older (experienced) man who knows how to pleasure them. Maybe if you were 60 or 70, you'd be dealing with people believing you aren't up to the task.
And we get it, you're in great shape.
Happy Birthday Lexy!
Wherever the world takes you, I hope good fortune follows and you finally find the peace that you seek.
