A long time ago, a writer here started a story which she asked other members to continue on using the embellish feature. Real life got in the way, and she's no longer around to promote the idea, but the story is still here. I thought I would point out the story again to let writers who joined after she posted this story take a shot at it, and also to remind those of us who were here that it still exists.

I know there are some very good writers here who are up to the challenge, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
For me, it's "Let it Be" but the naked version, not the original. I know it's overplayed, but listening to that song is almost a religious experience for me.
Sorry to hear that fystee. Wish I had some good advice for you. Hopefully someone here will give you some good advice. All I've got is, the pain gets less with time.
For me, yes it would. If she's a working porn star, I'm probably not interested. If she's no longer in the business, then I'm ok with it. Everyone has a past.
It is an interesting debate, and I'm not sure I know how I feel about it. In Canada, where I live, if a 17 year old girl takes naked pictures of herself, or has them taken of her, that is legally considered child pornography. So, let's say her 17 year old boyfriend has pictures of her. He can be charged for that, but he is legally allowed to see her naked, and fuck her, (age of consent is 14, or maybe 16 now) but he can't have nude pics of her.

I think I would lean more toward saying that it is ok for two people of the same age to exchange pics in general. But the idea of 12, and 13 year olds doing that does bother me. That is too young to understand the full weight of what they are doing and the risks involved.
I noticed this too, and like you said, I think it's a good idea. That way it's hareder to tell if your friends gave a story the vote it really deserved, instead of the friend-5.
Ok, so her identity is being kept very secret, but Painter wants you to have everyone guessing about it anyway? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wonders about the hypocracy of this thread. Why have this thread at all, other than to make sure that everyone on lush knows that the Painter is going to meet someone from here, in real life?

Congrats to you painter. If it happens. I've learned from experience not to count on such a thing happening until you are looking her in the eye. Too many things can happen in between.
For me, when the person starts typing, a message indicates that, but if they are typing a long message then the "____ is typing" indicator disappears before their response gets to me.

I've also noticed that sometimes people will disappear from conversations with the chat window telling both people that the other one left the conversation.

On one occasion I've even had someone come back after supposedly leaving the conversation. The chat option definitely isn't perfect, but I've been here long enough to remember when we didn't even have it, so I take it despite its flaws.
I actually believe that Sex Addiction exists. Whether Tiger has it, is a completely different matter that I can't judge. But sex addiction is when someone will fuck a person they aren't even attracted to, just because they need sex.
I've had a girl buy me a drink, and I didn't have a problem with it. That was the way she was. She knew that I would have paid for all her drinks, but she didn't want to be "taken care of," so after I paid for the first drink, she bought the second round. It worked for me.
For me, it's a matter of openness. If she's hiding it, I have a problem with it. But if she let's me know as soon as possible after it happens, then it's not a problem.
For me, I'm not sure that I look for anything in a person to become friends with. I have friends with a wide variety of traits, but the one thing I do know is that the one characteristic my best friends have is trust. I trust them completely. It takes a while to develop, but I know that I can share anything with them, and they will will help me rather than judge me. I also know that they trust me to help them out no matter what the cost.

I have friends who are funny, friends who are serious, friends who share my interests, friends who have completely different interests, but anyone I consider to be a friend, is someone I trust.
No. She's known for a long time. We still get along great but there is always the underlying tension of me wanting more, and her feeling bad for not wanting/being able to give it.
I have an amazing friend who I met here on lush. We chat almost every day, and often for as long as 5 hours. Somewhere along the way, I fell for her. Hard. She's happy with how things are, and sees no reason to change them. I want more. I know she's not ready for a relationship, and I wouldn't want one with her before she is ready, but I do want to meet her. Just as friends to hang out with her in real life. Online isn't enough for me. It's not real enough. And I've seen too many people just disappear from online without knowing what happened to them. This girl is amazing, I don't want to lose her friendship. She has hinted in the past she would eventually be ready to meet me in person, but now isn't so sure.

Has anyone ever fallen for a friend before? Does it inevitably mean the end of the friendship? Any advice on what I need to do moving forward?

I don't want to push her away by making things awkward, but at the same time, I can't deny how I feel about her.
Ok. I know this is a copout, but I think it depends on who they are, and what I think of them. If it's someone I know well, then I probably come clean. If it's someone who I know of, more than actually know, then I might string them along for a while.
I'd stop and say hello, and see where it lead. The experience could be worth much more to me than the pic.
Yeah, I think I asked that question. If I remember right it was almost unanimously considered cheating by the respondants at the time.
The occasional message wouldn't be bad, but I am aware of the many options on lush, and only participate in ones that interest me. If I would receive daily messages from the site about what is going on, that would start to feel like spam, and I'd be looking for a way to block those messages.
I will never understand the fascination with that. I guess I didn't learn the lesson about sharing when I was a kid. Because I will never be ok with another guy being with my girl.
I've had the same problem occasionally too, using explorer. I just hit refresh, and the story comes up on the second attempt. Not sure what the problem is, I just blamed it on the fact I use dialup, and things don't always load for me. It sucks being stuck in the stone age. lol

Hubby's show some interest in collaborating, but he's more of a story idea guy, I'd have to do all the hard stuff.... Should I bother, or make him write his own darn stories?

If he comes up with ideas that inspire you, I say go for it.

How is the songwriting going?

The song writing is ok. I've got concepts in my head, and now I'm playing with different sounds to go with them.
Today is the one year anniversary for me on Lush. In some ways it seems like just yesterday that I stumbled across this site and fell in love with the community aspect of the site. In other ways, its seems like I've been here a lot longer. Lush has seen some major improvements over the past year, with the new profile pages, conversations, the chat room, and story contests. Many of the friends I have met here are no longer around. Real life pulled them away, and new people came to replace them. Amidst this never ending turnover of people, I have made some true friendships that I am extremely grateful for.

It has been a while since I published a decent story, so I'm sure many of the people reading this have no clue who I am. I've lived on the fringe of this society. That's the way I like it. Those who know me, know that I'm happy to lend a hand, but prefer to control my time in the spotlight.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who makes this site what it is. Thanks to Nicola for the concept of Lush. Thanks to Gav for making sure that the concept remains a functioning reality. Thanks to the mods for all the work they do to make sure the content on this site is good. Thanks to the writers, who provide many stories for everyone to enjoy. And last of all, thank you to everyone who visits this site. It takes all of you to make this a community. And this community is what makes writing so rewarding here on Lush.

Once again, thanks to everyone for an exciting year on Lush. I hope we can all enjoy many more years here.

Have fun,

Jeremy

I think at least one of Juliasari's stories should make the list, I'm just not sure which one to recommend.
I only ever went to public schools, and I think no matter how much money I have I will send my children there as well. There may be more opportunities to challenge their minds in a private schools, but I think that public school provides greater social learning by exposing them to a wider variety of people, and also hopefully makes them see that they are no better or worse than anyone else.

I consider myself well rounded and able to talk to anyone from any walk of life. I would want my children to be able to do that as well.
How about Part 2: Bianca's trip to the doctor for treatment of extreme vaginal tears?

I know there is an element of fantasy to the stories, but come on. A virgin taking a twelve inch cock in one thrust? That's going to be painful for any woman, much less a virgin. You could even write about how she won't be able to have sex for a week or two while she heals.
I voted no. I'm not a big fan of the ads, but I don't find them intrusive. If they were to become intrusive, then maybe I would consider changing my vote. Right now you can see the ads, but they don't really detract from the experience.
