Depends on my ghostly powers, but if my abilities to affect the living are limited I’ll choose a cemetery. Make some ghostly friends.

The trouble with all green energy alternatives (much like fossil fuels) is there are limited resources available to make them. Mining the minerals needed to make the batteries is absolutely terrible for the environment and can wreck the water tables.
The real solution is rolling back on power consumption. Less cars on roads, periods of rolling blackouts or minimal power distribution. Need to use less heating/cooling for buildings. Wind and tidal energy is really looking like the way to do it, but until we develop a storage method that’s not mineral based batteries it’s not something we can do in the quantities people want.
Not a fan of Bob Dylan, but he has like 3 songs I really like. Like a Rolling Stone is a straight up banger. Unfortunately Apple seems to think whenever my Tom Waits album is over I want to listen to Bob Dylan, so it gets auto played a lot.
If you were to go trick or treating this year what costume would you wear? And in the context of this question you are going, saying you aren’t isn’t an answer!
gestures broadly at conservatives
You have two factors at play here. One is gun access and attitude towards gun violence.
The other is social programs and services remarkably lower crime rates. Republicans strip these things, so states they control have more desperate people who also have access to guns. Put those two together and now your kids are more likely to be killed by gun violence than any other reason.

There's an epidemic of obesity in the US. What mass deaths?
Climate is something that happens over years. Weather is what's happening before our eyes.
What crop failures are you talking about? What unprecedented amount of natural disasters are you talking about?
People in Russia and China and other countries have it a lot tougher than people here, but they're not overthrowing their governments.
What’s really concerning is how hard people will bury their heads to avoid the obvious truth.
This stuff is on the news daily and people still deny it’s existence. Scientists have pointed out again and again that the weather and climate are changing in ways it shouldn’t driven by pollution.
Crop failures are become increasingly common as a number of factors are rearing their ugly head. Mono cropping and factory farming is inherently unsustainable, these lead to soil degradation and really bad diseases without the natural biodiversity to counteract it.
Then you have climate change drying up water supplies (something farmers are screaming about and ignored). Last year Georgia lost 90% of it’s peach crop. Greece lost most of it’s olive crop due to extreme and unprecedented heat. Produce production in the America’s is down 20% from 10 years ago. These are all new stories on the front page of every non-republican news site
And I’m really tired of the 1950’s style deflect to how hard the starving kids in China argument. It’s dismissive at best, intentionally playing dumb at worse.

1. So burn it down first? Why do you see that as being better?
Like I said, it’s not going to be an option. What happens when there’s food scarcity and mass death? Climate chaos is a thing that is happening before our eyes. Unbridled hear, crop failures, unprecedented amount of natural disasters. This is just the opening volley scientists have warned us about. We’ve functionally changed nothing and it will get worse, fast.
There’s a limit the people will take, and they will not wait for a government designed to stagnate and unwilling to change.

#1 That cure's likely worse than the disease.
#2 And when it's time for a change, we change the constitution.
#3 Amendments have fixed constitutional problems before, and they can do it again. If we don't have any time left, why bother trying?
1. I don’t think it’s going to be a choice. When food and water shortages hit it’s going to upend the system fast.
2&3 : This is a change that would need to be done by a large number of politicians. The politicians on both sides are selected, promoted, and work for the rich. It’s a money game, and the poor can’t play. When that truth becomes accepted by enough people, they will not act within the system to change it. They will topple it. It’s happened time and time again throughout history. The American empire will fall like all the others. Climate change and wealth inequality will accelerate this. The scary question is what will that revolution look like and will we be able to survive in a world we’ve upended?
Like the young virgin male sacrificed to the succubus, I got excited and finished quickly! That was a fun little prompt. Submitted my little poem of power: Coven Lovin' : A Spell of Initiation.

Good luck everyone, these sort of micros are fun to binge read through!
Burn the system down, it’s built on poison. Start completely over from scratch. There’s no saving it.
Every time a constitutional issue is raised everyone argues what the founding fathers intended.
The founding fathers were racist, genocidal, and sexists. They had active disdain for the poor. The Declaration of Independence was written by a slave owner. The fact that we use them as the moralistic base of the country tells you everything wrong with it.
It’s unfixable, and frankly we don’t have any time left. We’re staring down the barrel of annihilation. Climate chaos and food/water scarcity is all but guaranteed for our young generations, the only question is when the shit will hit the fan.

a long time ago this country was all hyped up on keeping communism from spreading - so we spend treasure and lives in Vietnam.
turns out it wasn't.
after 911 we go to afghanastan and Iraq to fight the terrorists that want to destroy our way of life there.
iraq and Afghanistan wars based on total lies from republicans.
now, when the threat of communism taking over - reeps want to help them.
fucking nuttier than shit.
Communism is inherently flawed. Every time a country elects a far left socialist government or communist leader the same disaster happens.
The US assassinates their leaders, topples the government, and replaces it with far right extremists.
Communism isnt threatening to take over, Russia is enemy capitalists and the us capitalists are threatened by China and Russia overthrowing the US’s monopoly on colonization.
And it’s both sides of the aisle stoking war, can’t just pretend it’s just Republicans. Democrats voted for the war and escalated it under their control. Tens of thousands of civilians were killed by US drone strikes during the Obama administration, so much so they actually changed the rules in counting civilian deaths. Instead of actually having evidence who they killed were combatants they started counting any male over 18 as an enemy combatant unless proven otherwise. Still racked up so many women and children killed we hit historically high civilian deaths during those wars.
Picked up a new computer so we could play Baldur’s Gate 3. First new one in 12 years. Last one took 3 minutes to wake up and god help you if you needed to restart.
Been a good family purchase. We’ve been playing a lot of different games together that didn’t run right due to the pc’s age.
Nah, attempted to out of concern for a friend though. Then he got back together a few months later, then married. He doesn’t talk to me anymore, was told his wife doesn’t like him spending time online. She was insanely jealous and insinuated multiple times my partner was trying to steal him (which she wasn’t). I’m not on social media anymore but it was always painful to see pictures of him that were posted, he looked dead inside.
HYE lost a friend to their jealous or controlling spouse?
