The saying here about rain is that at least you don't have to shovel it to get out of your driveway. 😁 My drive needs a pass but it's cold enough to freeze the proverbial body parts of a brass monkey. As an author here, I find that more people will read my stories if they are shorter. So, I keep the stand-alone stories shorter and break the longer ones down into chapters.
As a story moderator, I sigh out loud when I have to mod a 10K story. It's just a lot to look at in one sitting.

Mr Ape, I slipped and fell on ice over fifteen years ago and still have shoulder pain from time to time. I just did rehab instead of surgery on my torn shoulder. Too bad I didn’t land on my ass. Got some extra padding back there.
Same for me and did rehab from two lovely ladies at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago-which convinced me that my next injury needing physical therapy would be a groin pull!!!!!
