@TantricHeart, that is a different problem than @steph29's redd.it image URLs that I addressed above. (But she is very likely ALSO experiencing what you are, as am I). All of your missing images are a symptom of a problem that seems to be going on throughout the Lush site that started today. I have seen messages from other members about it, so yeah, that's a big Lush problem. Not only images, but also odd code being inserted into comments, commenting not working, etc.

You guys can open a new support ticket: Click your avatar on the very top right of the red header of the site and pick Report Bug from the menu. If the admins get notified by several members about image loading issues, they may be able to scope out the extent of the problem and get to the bottom of it.

FYI, it's not a hotlinking issue per se. @steph29, I can give you a concrete example of at least one issue you're experiencing. There may be others, but here's one example.

https://www.lushstories.com/groups/the-tit-wisdom-of-jayne/post/64352 - that's a post you made including a lovely lady on a couch with books around her. The problem is that the image link in the post is:

https://preview.redd.it/03gvqe0yzwjb1.jpg?width=6400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad8268a35bfc914eecd4d4c6aac5f35ee198913b

, which means when you made the post, you pasted that image URL in there. No worries - we all do that all the time. And it usually works, and worked for you yesterday. The problem is that Reddit, where the URL is, has apparently in the meantime changed the way this URL structure is handled, and now gives a missing image instead of the lovely lady you posted. This isn't really unusual; many large media hosts are constantly changing the way URLs are generated and handled for a variety of reasons, and it just so happens that you got stuck posting an image URL that was probably not meant to be permanent but worked under specific circumstances for a time. *** In my experience as a web guy, the fact that several of your posts have this same problem with "preview.redd.it" URLs is very strong evidence that it's a "general structure" type of thing, not a problem with a specific image.

I think I can help in this instance. Through trial and error posting images from some hosts like Reddit and others over the years, I've discovered that there is a pretty stable URL structure to use for Reddit images. Whenever I post a Reddit image URL, I first look for the image filename "something.jpg" before the "?" character. In your case, it's "03gvqe0yzwjb1.jpg". I use the URL structure "https://i.redd.it/" followed by the image filename, and it works. So in your case, the image URL "https://i.redd.it/03gvqe0yzwjb1.jpg" will show the lovely lady!

So if you are so inclined, you can go back and edit that post: click on the 3 dots menu at the top right and choose "Edit"; wipe out the URL that you have in there now and replace it with "https://i.redd.it/03gvqe0yzwjb1.jpg"; Save, and you should see you lovely lady again! Of course if you want to bring back the images in your other posts, you can edit them, find the "cRaZYranDomlEtTers.jpg" filename, and replace the URL you originally posted with its equivalent "i.redd.it" URL.

You can DM me if you'd like if you'd like. I can't promise that I'll be available to help in real-time, but I'll respond when I can!
