No. Don't drink cocktails much at all.
HYE been the "other person" in an infidelity situation?

Frankly, I haven't a clue what an Ai story looks like much less reads like. Why don't we capture one and put it on display (in a cage of course) in the Forum, (clearly labled as potentially dangerous) for educational purposes?

I assume by sex, you mean with a person rather than my fingers or a toy. Um, I think I am coming up on 8 years? 9? I kind of forget. The last time was a fast, furious tryst with a paid companion so it's a bit of a blur. She had the best music of any escort I've seen, though.
What's the longest you have gone without either sex or masturbation?
Nope. I admire vets and their sacrifices (visited Pearl Harbor last week, in fact, and was quite moved to be in that spot) but I am also a pacifist who sees way too many wars being fought for unjust political causes rather than good ones.
HYE come home from vacation and promptly gotten sick (yes, I have been there, done that)?
53 is not bad, to my eye, esp. with 9 days left. Low for here but it's also open to longer, more involved stories and not everyone can do 3000 words in short order. I got kind of lucky that I hit on a good idea and managed to wrangle time to work on it before I skittled off to (somewhat) warmer parts of the Earth. The high numbers in some comps are because they are Flash and those are easier to "bash out" even if they sometimes need more judicious editing to fit the limit.

The biggest I've ever seen have been, like, maybe sixth of a golf ball size that damaged our conservatory roof one time.
π² Crap, biggest we've had, at least in my presence, has been marble sized and that was rough on my one car's paint job. I don't think I have ever even seen golf ball sized hail.

Also, judging by the size of the hailstones, Lion has been getting there; there will be plenty of extra ice in the drinks today.
Harvesting hail for use in drinks. Love it. Would work best if you catch them before they hit the ground. Unless you want mud in your drink.
Hi, all. On a rather not pacific Pacific Ocean right now. The ship is a rockin' and rollin' even without the usual terrible cruise ship music (okay, to be fair, there's one band on board that I like).

I have submitted a story twice so far, I have used grammar and a second proofreading program and, a spellcheck program and it still isnβt being accepted. I do this for my enjoyment, but at this point it is neither enjoyable nor fun anymore.
I am so frustrated I donβt know what to do.
The mod who rejected it should have said what the problems were and can answer questions about them if you need clarification. Also doesn't hurt to post for an "editor" to give it a second glance.

Same. My story has been sitting for two weeks. It's kinda frustrating. I wrote 3 chapters, just waiting for the first one to go live.
Lush has been quite open and clear about the queue length and the reasons. If you are doing a multipart work, that needs to be taken into account. The situation isn't getting any better from what has been said.
It really comes down to whether you see this as a social site or a writing site and then what kind of social site. I come from the world of forums where you mostly just know someone by a username and an avatar to start with. It is rare to have real photos. So I am not looking for the kind of interactions where the authenticity of photos matters. Like JustForYou, I am more about the writing and just having some fun in the forums. Basically, if someone, real or fake, isn't active in writing or the forum's, they are off my radar.
I do think that you have a real concern for the kind of interaction you seem to be looking for. However, I am old enough and have been on the Internet long enough to just assume people are not always who they say. On the Internet, no one knows you're a dog, as the saying goes.π
Once a story is the queue, I move on. If the mod kicks it (yes, it has happened) then I will touch it again. Helps that I don't edit on the site. All writing is done offline and then pasted into the editor when I feel ready to submit. Even after it is set up here as a draft, I edit the offline copy and recopy the new draft. And once I submit, I move the offline copy to a "Completed" folder and that closes things off for me.

Genetic results coming tomorrow. Dr appt for my thyroid Wednesday. Hoping to get answers, make a plan, and get this bump in the road behind me!
Here's hoping you can come out of this in a better place. Sending good vibes.
And for those who haven't noticed yet, my entry is up now.

Alone in the woods, Lydia discovers the true heat of passion
SupernaturalMy comp entry is queued. Now I have to figure out what comes next. Back to my novella (or whatever it ends up being)? Or the slight start of an idea I have been futzing around with since before the comp announcement? No idea. I am stuck on a ship for 8-9 days out of the next 21 so I have the time. Just need to decide what to write with that time.
