I prefer afternoon mostly but it usually gets pushed close to evening on workdays. Maybe once I am retired, I will shift it to morning but I'm usually in a scramble to get going as it is.

That's sort of what happened. I rewrote one to incorporate some of the feel of the other. They were very close to start with. It was literally just the last paragraph or so, the "punchline" so to speak, that was different.

Flannel. Silk is fine for clothes but flannel is better for sleeping on/in in my experience. Warmth is probably part of that, me being in Canada and all.

The long-haired growler (and a very impressive one, I must say) with the electric guitar is Ryoji Shinomoto of Japanese heavy metal band Ryujin. Nini used to mostly do Asian covers of Western rock and metal but has been putting out some good originals of late.

Been there, done that. Usually I end up finishing both, putting one in the comp and releasing the other after it's over. Hasn't happened here in a while but I am pretty sure I did that in a recent comp on SS.
