I've never understood why it's so difficult to do either of these things and am again trying to see where to do both.

If I hover over their name in the friends list, there is no remove friend and no block option. There is the options below. Where do I remove them and block them? It would be so much easier if on their profile page if there was just a block button and remove friend button.

I am from Ontario, Canada, I call it pop, then flavor specific. Pop would be short for carbonated beverages collectively. I don't get why anyone would refer to all pop as "Coke?" What if they want Pepsi or ginger ale? You still call it Coke? How would anyone know what you wanted if you ordered at a restaurant? Makes no sense to me.
Yes, I do, I was around 25 when I saw my first one! The pay TV service had some on and I was curious, it was a movie already several yrs old, but the trailer looked interesting. The deceased porn star Savannah and Peter North were in it. I knew she'd come to a sad end a few yrs before. It was called "Laying The Ghost." I was afraid my grandmother would notice the movie on the cable bill, but she never did. LOL. This was before you could order them with a few clicks of the remote control, you literally had to call in and order it. I even taped it on the VCR since I wondered if I might want to watch it again. The tape is still around here somewhere!

The annoying security notice that pops up as soon as you visit a grooveshark blemished profile is one thing, but sound coming from a page as soon a you open it is an even worse user experience ever in my mind. Especilly if you, like me, often open links in background tabs. It's no fun if one starts demanding attention from the background.

Totally agree. Nothing will make people backbutton faster than an unexpected sound coming when they didn't expect it. Any website that does that is not thinking. Your page your choice, but you'll just piss most people off by doing that.
xhamster. I don't watch porn but I am a member there and it's worked out well for socializing.
Every waking minute. Skye and start up automatically for me. I'd have no social life otherwise..lol.
I was looking for another place to post my erotic audios and gain a larger audience.
I'm wondering when after this 6 months is up and the inbox pm's will be stopped for the free members, I saw in another thread a man mention he had all his email, , etc ID's posted on his profile page. I'm wondering if like several dating sites I can think of where they do not allow that info on the profile page to force members to pay up. Since if their ID's are on the page, obviously they can be contacted offsite.

Many disguise their ID's in various ways to get around it, but once it's seen it's removed. One site is crafty, they have it appear to you, but to other members it's blocked, so people don't know unless another member tells them. I'm wondering if posting our contact info on our profile pages will even be allowed at all. If using the inbox system is taking up bandwith, server space what have you, I understand them cutting it, but if not allowing ID's on the pages, then no way to contact people other than to pay up.
No actually, I don't break even on my site, far from it, operating in the red until things take off. I'd say 80% of my running costs are out of my own pocket each and every month. Hundreds of dollars currently I pay monthly for my own hosting fees. You don't seem to grasp the costs of web hosting, whether or not the content is free, it costs a lot for the web owners to deliver it to you. And millions of people pay for everything from paid porn sites, around $19.99-$29.99 a MONTH, to ones that pay for phone sex. I take down clients credit card info every single day. I'd say less than 5% use pre paid cards to begin with. Most adult businesses have generic business names for just this reason. It's not your site, no one's asking you to pay. The conditions have been explained to you. You don't like them, no one's forcing you to pay. Simple as that.
People that are worried can get pre paid cards. I work in adult entertainment myself and have a totally generic business name that shows up on clients credit card statements, and ones do use pre paid cards that are paranoid. Believe me, I understand the crippling costs of hosting a big site all too well. Many assume we webmasters are raking in the dough when in reality many times it's a victory to just break even. People want everything for free, they do not know, understand or even care in most cases if it's explained to them, they are enjoying a site on the owners dime. I sympathize and I get it, not many others do until you are in a similar situation yourselves.
During phone sex once, I knew their name, I hadn't forgotten, but they always wanted me to say their name right when I cum. I can barely recall my own name at that moment, and I said the name of who I wished I was phoning with at that moment. I felt terrible as soon as I realized it, he didn't say anything and it was never mentioned. Not a good idea to ask to have someone yell out your name at that pivotal moment.
Fastest way to annoy or make me back button off a page is an auto play. People HATE it.

Same as every other holiday: working.
Me too. Workaholic that never takes a day off. No family other than my mom, so no family to think of. So just another day, really.
