Sara, sorry to hear about your ankle. Take good care and give it time to heal properly, even a small fracture in joints can come back and haunt you for years. I had one in my thumb at 18 it still niggles from time to time 30 some years later.

Now onto business...

Take extra calcium rich foods to help bone repair, i hope you have someone to help you, to get groceries help with chores etc. a shower chair will help you safely shower with a garbage bag taped over your leg.Good luck with your healing and recovery (( gentle hugs )) to you.

Tea Kettle is rinsed, hot, and ready. We've got the usual range of fine teas available in sachets, plus pots of Red Rose and Lapsang Souchong in pots on the side. Today we have that fine, French hot chocolate mix, plus a mound of mini-marshmallows for the Sweeties Who Walk Among Us.

Big Bertha has been desludged (saved for Carl), rinsed, refilled, and is ready-loaded with Kona coffee from Hawai'i, and should be ready momentarily.

We've got a variety of pastries this morning. The usual sprinklies for the Sweet Set, with reserves for Sara (with her Atlanta sports section), as well as BG, Angel (has anyone seen her recently? Hope she's OK), and Kat, with Jammy donuts for Vee, Eliza, and Ares. And Boston Creams for Scott and Donna!

As well, I've got some French pastries from the place where I got the hot chocolate and some Rugelach from the Jewish bakery nearby. So – everyone get fat, now. You need the extra insulation for the cold winter weather!

Except you mob from Downunder. You need to worry about fitting your swimming cossies!

Dear Sara so sorry to hear you hurt your ankle. If you can get a friend to buy you some anti inflammatory tablets or cream like Voltaren and keep up the pain relief also.

Magnesium cream or epsom salts in tepid water ( in a bowl)will help release the spasm in the muscles and increase

circulation to the swollen area helping it heal . Hope all goes well at the hospital or doctors surgery tomorrow 🙏🏽
