I completely agree that caffeine doesn't help with long term endurance. but it does have a place.

RE:the help when I bonked, it's well established that buccal routes are faster ways to absorb and utilize, plus liquids are digested faster. So the time it took to recover from improper fueling/bonk was much less than it would have taken if i had just taken a tablet(not something easily done on the bike anyway) and eaten a lara bar. Besides, I rather like the way the watermelon tastes and I end up hydrating better, something I struggle to do anyway. So the cost isn't terrible, $20/2 months or so and the peripheral benefits are useful, even if it doesn't make a perceptible difference.

I believe you misread me here. Caffeine can actually have a pretty noticeable (and positive) effect on endurance training, BCAAs themselves are practically useless if not intended for building muscles. Hence my analogy with a box of Cracker Jack: you're essentially paying $40 for your BCAAs when what really interests you is the inexpensive caffeine that's mixed with it.

Besides, gelatin capsules take about 5 minutes to dissolve in gastric acid, so the difference in terms of absorption time is practically nil when compared to pure powder. And mind you, pure caffeine powders are totally available too. You could just add a teaspoon of caffeine to your favorite fruit juice and you'd achieve the exact same results for a fraction of the price.

You do whatever you please of course, I'm just suggesting economical alternatives to what you're currently performing.

(...) but those bcaa's were a lifesaver there when I wasnt fueling as i should have.

Just to reiterate because I'd hate to see you waste your money...

BCAAs hardly have any effect on your performances or how you feel during an endurance workout: their only benefit is to boost protein synthesis in a proper bodybuilding optic (and even then). The physiological effects that you're noticing are most certainly triggered by the caffeine that's contained in your powder.

Caffeine products are much more reasonably priced on the fitness market, if that's really your thing (nothing wrong with any of that). 400g (40 servings) of BCAAs usually costs $40, or $1.00/serving; 100 capsules of caffeine only costs around $7, or $0.07/serving. In other words, you could get your hands on a product that offers the exact same benefits that you seek for 1/15th of the price.

I hate to burst your bubble, but using BCAAs for endurance purposes is like buying a box of Cracker Jack solely for the shoddy surprise that's inside.

I didn't know Alan a whole lot, but he and I shared a passion for guitars and had a few friendly exchanges about it. What a sad and unexpected thing this is...

May the Rock Gods watch over your soul, buddy.

The members of Bad Religion actually considered the name 'Smegma' when they formed in 1979.

Mind you, they were 15-year-old back then.
Anyone fancies some Vaginal Croutons? Okay, that one name isn't even imaginary...

Yes, but only like 100 times. Not a crazy or weird number though.

Your mom's basement doesn't exactly qualify as a proper 'workplace', butthead.
Quaker rice cakes (butter popcorn flavor), pretty much the only junk that I eat on a regular basis. I break the cakes in smaller pieces, put them all in a large bowl, and eat them as I would eat popcorn. It tastes just as good as popcorn and roughly provides half of the calories, which is great.

Who are you to criticize a single other member when as of 3:37 A.M. on March 8, 2017 your profile page is totally blank?

Touché. I admittedly forgot that adorning my profile with a clichéd bio and an obnoxious background that prevents people from reading said bio were prerequisites to interact with anyone in the forums. I promise to work on all that, as well as dick-pics, overly sentimental poems, and even an irksome glittering banner to use as my forum signature.

As of 9:08 P.M. on March 8, 2017, I pledge to become an exemplary and valuable member of the Lush community.

Seeing as the one on the right is most likely stuck up on her looks, probably will take pictures of herself every hour of every day and take three to four hours to get ready. No thanks been there done that. Give me realism any day of the week.

Gotta love when someone needs to rely on silly fabricated assumptions to try to make a point; it really gives a whole lot of merit to whatever feeble rationale you were attempting to defend. I feel like a kid that's asked to be gullible and believe that a big monster will come eat me if I don't go to bed on time. Lesson of the day: make sure to vaguely respect others' intelligence before trying to sound any clever yourself.

Your whole shortsighted perspective concerning attractive girls only compels me to take your 'been there done that' with a rather enormous grain of salt. By your very same logic, anyone might as well proclaim that the girl on the left is perpetually ruminating about her fat, needs to eat cake every hour of every day and cries in front of the mirror for three to four hours before heading out. No one would be low or dumb enough to make any such assumptions, now would they?

The two girls in the two pictures are both wearing similar amounts of make-up and are both posing for a selfie: how you feel permitted to formulate idiotic assumptions about one and not the other is way beyond me.

I really don't think it was necessary to bring any kind of body shaming into this thread to highlight a point. Yes SP I'm looking at you.

How exactly does anything that I presented above equate to body shaming? My first post was a plain answer to the straightforward yes/no question asked in this thread; my second was a legitimate inquiry to someone who seemingly defies every conventional law of attraction.

You've hardly made any positive contribution to this thread yourself. A woman asked whether or not guys find curvy women attractive, you've voiced a rather personal diatribe and only fed her with the very same deceptive rationale that she was initially questioning (and that everybody already heard a gazillion times, despite your attempts to sound any original or insightful).

You getting upset when a distinctive guy dares mention that he prefers other body types than your own isn't him indulging in fat shamming; it's you cultivating a fair amount of self-directed shame and having it triggered at any minor incident, while majorly discrediting any 'own your fat' lecture you may ramble about.

It's all in the eyes... ;)

So, which one has the prettiest eyes then?
Quote by Ping
For me, it's eyes and personality first.

If you have that, and only two eyes please, that's pretty important, I don't care what the physical description is,
because we are going to have fun.

So, you're essentially saying that these two girls would have equal chances with you? Impressive...

Most probably not the worst movie in the history of cinema, but I thought that the latest Tarzan movie was extremely shitty:
