"Can confirm it's well worth a read! ???"

Thank you for your recommendation, Annie!

Her story is also great, and I highly recommend everyone absolutely check it out!
Hey everyone!

This is my first time actually making one of these promotional threads, but it seems like it's part of the game this time around. My entry to the "Notorious" competition is online and ready for your eyes, and I am really excited to share what I've come up with. I am always very grateful to everyone who takes the time to read and vote on my work, and that much moreso in this particular competition.

I think it's an interesting notion, but it would be a pretty significant pain to pull off from a technical standpoint. The best thing to do would probably be to leave the existing 1-5 votes as they are, because however simple the algorithm would be to write, applying it to the whole database of users and stories would most likely be a complete nightmare.

With that in mind, I'm actually a strong proponent of moving to an upvote/downvote system, though it would present similar challenges in terms of what to do with all the existing votes.

Hate is never a good choice. Revenge is stupid, or at the very least overrated. Public shaming is an act to feel shameful about.

"But an open relationship, now thats a whole different scenario can’t cheat if you have permission!"

This is not necessarily true. In fact, it's hardly ever true. Many polyamorous or open relationships have extensive rules about what is and is not cheating (a whole other problem in my opinion, but one which I won't unpack here), and most have some basic expectations, like not starting a new sexual relationship without discussing it with one's existing partners (or at least notifying them). That frequently applies even in the context of non-hierarchical polyamory. I suppose the most common exception to that guideline would be relationship anarchy (under some definitions). In an open relationship, the two romantic partners are not supposed to form emotional connections to their other sex/play partners at all. In summation, there are many, many ways to cheat in non-monogamous relationships.
Awkward. Some sex (like blowjobs) can still be fun, but it's always more awkward in a car than it is at home, outside, etc.
