A while since I've updated. A while since I've written. Apart from a short poem.

My 50th story was always going to be a challenge. I really wanted another competition badge too, childish I know. The title Obsession, was more than a challenge. I honestly believed I couldn't write on this subject. Today I submitted my competition entry, my 50th story. I have mixed feelings about it. I would be really grateful, if it gets published, to hear your honest opinions. It is NOT a true story. Ok bits are!!!!!

Another month draws to an end. Thankyou to everyone who read, liked and commented on my stories. There are a few faithful, loyal friends here. I do appreciate your support. I have been looking through and tidying things up. Mainly media. I observed my first story chapter one of The Strutting Cockerel was one of my most read and liked stories, final chapter 30 caused barely a ripple. What I have learned from that is, no more long sagas. Also shorter, more thought provoking stories aren’t very popular. Without question the short Good Girl Series was my most popular work. It was my least favourite. I’m clearly out of sync with my Lush friends. The Call of the Hebrides has raised her voice , soon I will be back there. Paradise! X

July 2025 Where have the last 6 months gone?

Thankfully ended the month with a short, summery tale after my mind going blank for most of June. A friend on here informed me I was in the Top Twenty authors. Unbelievable so thank you for your loyalty and votes.

I've submitted another story, again a true one, with the necessary Lush embellishment. Starting to think Ive written my memoirs on here!! Although timeline is erratic.

I felt strongly about my latest story, Pretty Woman?, and was ready to give up. AvidlyCurious encouraged, guided and advised me to keep going. Darkside gave me good advice and encouragement too. I am grateful. Without them this story would be in the bin. I hope you find it worth reading. X🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Update

I've abandoned my thought-provoking story. It didn't fit Lush’s criteria unfortunately. To change it would have changed the meaning of what I wrote. It’s a pity because I felt quite strongly about the topic. My thanks go to the Moderators who advised me on its content and showed me how it could work. I'm grateful but for me the story wouldn't have worked that way. Now to try to get some inspiration to write again. My recent nonsense has been popular. Thanks for reading, liking and commenting.

Congratulations to the competition winners. Ive read them all now. Excellent and worthy winners. Who knows, at some time in the future, I might enter again.

June 2025

Had planned to take a break from writing after concluding The Strutting Cockerel. However I saw something on tv that inspired Frankie’s Final Fling. I have also submitted another short, sombre story, sorry, its awaiting approval. Not sure why, but I felt compelled to write it. Also got two microfictions in Drafts to lighten the mood again. So much for not writing!! 🤣

As always thanks to the Moderators who have to plough through my ramblings and fix my many mistakes .

End of May 2025

The month is at an end and so too are my first Stories. The Strutting Cockerel has crowed triumphantly. I've written in between chapters. Some are thought-provoking, others fun, flirty nonsense. Entered my first competition. Call of the Hebrides is probably my favourite tale. A friend told me about a link here, I hadn't seen it. It lists the top stories and authors for the Month. I was totally amazed when I looked to see I was number 13 In the authors!!! thanks to you for liking and choosing favourite. I'm fair chuffed. Interesting that my debut story has had more views and likes than the stories that followed. I guess saving the best for last does not apply here 🤣 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿x

Another month flies by. Still writing and I plucked up the courage to enter my first competition. Thank you for all those who voted like and favourite and left a comment. I read them all and try to respond. Apologies if Ive missed you out! Strutting Cockerel nearing its finale. Just a few loose ends to tie up……not Shibari!

Ok so I removed a number of pics from my gallery that had been on a few weeks. I thought they had reached their sell by date. Seems I was wrong. I've had a number of requests to reinstate them, so being an obliging sort, here they are.
